RS America, pretty limited production (701 made).

The blue Roadster is a 1931 Studebaker Model 54R, one of six known to exist.

Great! With its overall shape and the oval headlights it looks as if it just fell out of a comic strip :D What about replacement parts? I mean, there are only a few dozens of my car on the roads here in Germany and I have massive problems getting parts, I can hardly imagine how hard it has to be finding them for your Studebaker!

Elitemotor, are those 19's on there? My dad's considering putting 19" HRE's on his 993, but probably without the "step". Not sure if they'd look too big on a 993 but those look pretty nice...

the HRE are 19". I'm thinking of selling the car with or without the wheels. I still have the original turbo twist. Also the car is lowered to Euro Specs. about 1" lower.

WOW! That picture takes me back. When I was about 3, my dad fixed up an Avanti. IIRC, 289, supercharged, no AC (you got one or the other). When he got it, it was purple metal flake. One of my earliest memories is my sister and I and a bunch of other kids from the neighborhood sanding the paint off. Of course, Dad was doing the real work with a power sander, but we all got to "help". He repainted it himself a deep burgundy, and I think it had a cream interior. Sadly, he sold it when I was still young. But we did see it at a car show a few years later, which was cool since he had done the work to make it look nice.

I sure wanted that car when I was in high school. A convertible Avanti makes a cameo in Karate Kid. I went nuts in the theater, and my friends looked at me like I was on drugs :)

The white Avanti is a 1988 convertable, the other white (1963) avanti has a dealer installed vynal roof on it, supercharged/4speed, both are the wifes, I have the black (1964) Avanti with a very rare 304 ci supercharged engine in it, We haven't driven any of these in a very long time, they are just trailered to shows. the blue was my sons, he receintly sold it for a Mustang saleene

I've seen so many awesome garages and I noticed that most of them have a lot of tools..meaning most of the guys are mechanics and/or know how to fix their own cars or am I wrong?
