Is this price justified, or is it just the market going crazy ?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERRARI-DINO-246-TOOLKIT-WALLET-JACKKIT-WHEEL-CHOCK-ETC_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ119133QQihZ005QQitemZ150128903027QQrdZ1
That's what he is asking for the set, not what anybody has showed up willing to pay for it yet! The price is only justified if someone wants to pay it. Ferraris are cars for people with a lot of disposable income and/or a passion. That means anything rare can sell for a lot more than might seem to make sense. As I've said before, some allegedly intelligent people will pay MILLIONS for a Jeff Koons or Keith Haring, and those are generally pretty nasty to look at. So, whats $12,000 for a bunch of books and tools?
From what we've seen before, I'm not so sure that the price is outlandish. The $12,000 includes the leather pouch, books, and what appears to be a complete tool kit, wheel chock, safety triangle, key fob, etc. Just seems to be missing the yellow tack cloth and my Magneti Marelli battery warranty card (which of course we all know is worth $12,000 just by itself!) ;-) Mark
I don't think I said it was "real," only that it had "a" key fob. I wish I had a real key fob. Would you like to trade a real AND correct key fob for my Magneti Marelli battery card? Mark
