Just thought I’d share a funny story.

I took the 328 to work today, as the weatherman said only a 10% chance of rain. Due to my height, I can’t bring the top stowed behind the seats, as I won’t fit in the car without being able to recline the seat all the way back.
Well, rounding at the hospital turned into 6 hours of work, rather than the 3 I planned on, and as I came out of the parking lot, the rain came down. Luckily I didn’t catch any lights on the way home (I live in a rural area) but I ate it with the rain from the neck up! The funny thing was, that about half way home, the passenger side wiper came off, and was sailing back over the car, and I luckily caught it right as it was about to pass over me to the road!

I just finished toweling her down and replacing the wiper blade. It seems to be secure now. I guess it must have been loose, as this was the first time I’ve had the car in the rain. And I sure hope the last!

I'd hunt down that weatherman and give him a stern talking to! ;)

You probably needed an excuse to wash the car anyway...

i the don't think there is ever LESS then a 20% chance of rain here.

i am 6-3 and found with the top behind the seats I would side the seat forward some so that I could recline more.

also I bought a 25mm spacer from Hill Engineering (sponsor here) for the steering wheel. Moving the wheel towards you makes a huge difference for taller people.

Some entrepreneur needs to make a folding targa top for these cars. ;)

Even .001% chance of anything still means it can happen. Ever make a big bet a poker and have your opponent suck out a 97/3.

Technically, 10% chance means on 10 equivalent days, it will rain for sure on one of them. And says nothing about whether that day in question will get you wet.

TV weather use of that 10% language around here is taken to mean the cloud cover is not solid. But for certain it will rain somewhere in the vicinity but most of the area will escape it as the clouds slide on by OR you might only get rained upon 10% of the day.

The Boy Scouts got it right. Keep a towel in the trunk at all times.

Actually, an emergency-only cloth cover that would fasten somehow could be a cool product.

You'd just need a front and rear bar that fit like the targa top, with the same clamps at the back, connected with a sheet of fabric. Hmmmmmm.

Don't feel bad, I got caught twice in the rain driving home, but luckily I had the top with me although I kept driving and luckily it stopped as I got closer to home, this was all highway. I never even put the top on.

    That slow???

100 kph is where she'll slowly start to feel good! 130 kph is better and 160 kph better still!!

Had her up to 235 kph in Germany this winter, but at over 190 the front starts to feel reaaaaally light.

Feels so good to beat 90% of modern day cars with this 33 year old lady :D
