Caution Ebay Scame---This was my Diablo Roadster

Need to verify the VIN but I am pretty sure.

 

Strange. Does the VIN shown match? How much did you sell it to him for?

 

too busy to go dig it out and look it up......fwiw, i didn't sell to him. i traded it to premier for a murcie and chris sold it. the car belongs to a great gentleman who has it in FL for the winter.

 

Of course no one deserves to be ripped off, but if you think the car would sell for $80k..... Well you ALMOST deserve it.

Well, there you have it.....Thanks, Chris for the clarity. In any case, as Jerry eluded, it doesn't matter whose car it is....at 80k, it's a SCAM.

 

Not nesserarily, see the story is the owner lives in London, and the car is here..

But the vin is good and the car is located in the listing city and has clean autocheck and carfax...I know a dealer going to check the car in person on friday..Bobby told me about yesterday..

but there is no bad history on the car and so far the story checks out..we will see

 

Well, the car was real, but of course as we all knew was a scam..I spoke to Bobby Khan the Broker in NJ, who was looking at this car today, and he said the listing was a scam, and the lister wanted the money wired to account in Russia...So he reported to ebay...Tom the car at one time in the ad may have been yours after all...

 

I think Tom knows his cars better then anyone else! Hope all is well Tom!! Did that trip pan out good as we last spoke?

Thanks, Mark. Trip was long as they all are. Progress was made but it's an on-going challenge. I miss my cars while I am gone. As much as I travel, my cars sit and patiently wait for my short home coming and the occassional short, unspirited drives...., if I were smart, I'd have nothing but a bike in my garage (self evident....you be the judge)
