Just thought Id post my perfect spec for a 355. Ive been obsessed with the car ever since I saw one at knockhill in about '95. Post your own with pics if you have any.

    Manual '99 GTB
    Exterior: Rosso Barchetta
Interior: somehwere between crema and tan, think it might be called sabba
    Origonal cf sports seats
    Wing shields
    Yellow brake callipers
    11mm spacers all round
Avon tyres (don't like the look of pirellis)

I have answered this question at least 3 times. There is no such thing. At least for the US CH cars. My 355CH has stock part numbered ECUs and they have factory seals on them. The CH parts book has no listing for any special ECUs for the challenge cars. If there is, someone needs to enlighten me on this. The only "special ECU" for american spec cars would the one used in non cat cars sent to South Africa or the middle east(you won't find a US dealer that would sell one). You would need to reset the cams and remove the cats to reap any benefits and they would be nill IMHO.

Hey Vern, you know I already know this....I just love to ask everyone that says they have a CH ecu just to see if I get a response...lol
Yes you are right about the non cat ecu's sent to SA and there is one other country also......been trying to get my hands on a 2.7 non-cat ecu for a 5.2 retro-grade conversion.

Well crap if you already knew that then quit yankin' the guys chain would ya! hahaha. I don't think there is really any benefit to the other ECUs they still have 02 sensors that keep that somewhat lean mixture at 14.7:1. If you want to change things I would look into a Motec system.
