The 599 is an ugly car without the Challenge rims, it looks amazing with the challenge rims. This weekend: Red 360 spider Silverish F430 spider Orange Elise Aston DB7
WOW! calgary has some serious money! Superamerica looks great. And the 599 looks pretty nice too. apart from the wheels. Brim, like always, your SLR Steals the show and looks great along with the Enzo and Superamerica.
Looks like a great show! Seems like it was in a pretty private, secluded area there. Brim, the SLR looks great.
Both those cars belong to the same guy. They were probably on there way home from DTP car show. Nice pics Brim. The SLR looks so good.
Last couple of days: Grey Bentley FS Black Bentley GT Yellow F355 F1 Spider Red 360 Modena Silver Z8 AM Racing Green Aston Vanquish (has Sport Auto Carolinas plate frame) Silver and Black 997 Turbo A strangely high number of Porsche 993s (Black cab, Blue coupe, Red coupe, Silver Turbo, Blue C4S) - LOVE those cars!
About 75mm worth in an hour. The last time I saw something like this it was in Brasil. That should give you an idea......tropical thundershower.....or a monsoon......take your pick. I am glad I live on the sixth floor. Every underpass in the city was flooded.....vehicles were virtually submerged with barely their roofs visible......almost every major road was closed. http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=20656e8b-fe1e-4628-aa36-8b4b3dc91dcd&k=90310
Sounds like what happened here in T.O a few years ago, washed out a few bridges around town....my basement was flooded like everyone else around the city. If i recall Insurance damage was $400M across the city...largest claim ever. The sad part, our rates went up, and insurance companies now dont cover storms like this anymore in policies....just like acts of terror...go figure
LOL !!! There is gonna be a lot of them. Saturns and Toyotas probably. Funny story bud........last night on the 11pm news they were interviewing people stuck in the storm......and they were talking to this probably 20 something girl......you know......the stereotypical brain dead Valley girl type......and she was saying "Gee I though it was OK...it didn't look too deep.....but I got stuck and barely was able to crawl out of the window and swim to the side of the road".....and the TV screenshot had her standing in front of the "UNDERPASS" doouuhh !! where the water was at least 5-6 feet deep. If you cannot look at the downward decline of the road and present water levels and determine you ain't gonna make it...... Darwin would be proud.....and it is still raining heavily....but not like last night. Maybe I'll see Brim's SLR floating down the road.
These pics are from a major artery here.......Glenmore and Macleod Trails......notice how the van just stopped in time....any further and he'd need an oar.....the parkade shots are undergound in the Chinook Shopping Mall. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just to put the parking lot pic into perspective.......the various underground levels hold hundreds, maybe a thousand of cars on each level.....what you see here is but a small part....so the water was spread out over a huge area.
