i think its alittle more light then murcielago...i do believe the murcie is Monterey Blue however

 

Though not correct according to my records..the car is infact Blue Monterey, there was no Blu Ely made on the Murcielago's, it was a Diablo color! This car is in the database and is Blue Monterey

 

That's my car before SP completed the mods...the photo was taken behind their shop. The color is Blu Monterey...Blue Ely is more of a pastel color, almost a SMURF blue....not a Murcie color, Diablo 6.0 and there were I believe, 3 made in Blue Ely. There are four Murcie's for 2003 in Blu Monterey, two of them are here in Portland, mine being one of them.

That color is Monterey Blue (which I think is the most beautiful color in the world). It was invented for the 1998 Monterey Diablo SV #20 (or #2 i get the # mixed up). The color is in my opinion the best looking Lambo color as it's also one of the rarest. The paint itself cost $3,000 per gallon, so perhaps that explains it's rarity. As far as I know, from the factory, only 1 '98 Diablo SV is this color, 3 or 4 '99 Diablo SV's, 4 '03 Murci's, 2 LP640's, and about 3 Murci roadsters. I hope there is more because it truely is a remarkable color.

 

Blue! no other color looks great besides Orange but with any lambo BLUE IS THE BEST COLOR PERIOD!.

Agreed. Hard to believe indeed which comes as no surprise as there is a bit of exaggeration about colors "invented" and their corresponding rarity.

Ha thats exactly how my Murcielago in Need for Speed: Carbon looks. LOL. The game doesn't let me paint the lip blue so the rims are black with a chrome lip, but if it did I would have the games equivalent to Kevin's.

I saw a murcielago like that last year at a auto show and im going to it in 15 days again maybe it might be there again!

Thats original paint on 5066 and its a well-preserved example of "Blu Tahiti" which is very different from Monterey Blu....
Just 2 Miura SVs were originally painted Blu Tahiti, and yes Charlie it does look stunning.
