    I wouldnt give him half of what hes asking for that time bomb, its only a short matter of time before EVERY gasket and seal is leaking on that thing!!....just to start

    buy it, drive it for 1-2k miles and get back to me


    I bought my Diablo with 2800 miles on it last fall (6 years old)
    well, $30k in work later (alotta seals and gaskets), no more low miliage garages queens for me :(

    well about 16k was found during the PPI and done complimentry
    still kinda pissed about the rest

    not to cause trouble, but Wynn Ferrari in LV did it :(
    wont EVER use them again, they couldnt even mail me the results after calling and asking them to TWICE!

    You get more of the seal-and-gasket thing with pre-Audi Lamborghini drivetrains (I hate to admit...) than with same-era Ferraris.

    2,800 does not need to be a death sentence for this car if it has been properly maintained.

    $30K sounds about right for doing a go through on seals, gaskets, etc. Funny, my bill back in 93 for my 288 GTO was, you guessed it, $30K in stuff to get the car up to snuff. I just plan on around $30K on any car I purchase. If it's less than that, great. If it's more, than I'm a bit disappointed because I overpaid for the car. Unless, of course, I already know that going in....

    I bet it goes for close to $500,000 also.
    The F40's are hot now & you don't see many around for sale.
    I say drive em up! Never plan to sell mine. :)
