For those who read the article, it states very clearly that the photo is an artists impression of what R&T thinks the neew car could look like. It has ABSOLUTELY no basis in fact or reality or anything even close to what the car is eventually going to be. Don't people read anymore!?

When photos of the 599 were first revealed, I thought, poor child , doesn't know it's ugly. Then seeing it in person got goosebumps. A complete reversal, and yes, it certainly is a Ferrari.

I wouldn't pass judgement just yet.

Why don't people get tired of these 4 years early specalations?? Specially all the lousy photoshops. It is beyond my understanding that anyone starts to speculate a cars looks and performance 4 years earlier that its release.

You don't even need to read the mag. It's obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense!

Because nothing sells magazines like "FERRARI SCOOP! SPY PHOTOS INSIDE!" on the cover.

Sufficed to say, anybody who is eve remotely involved in the Ferrari enthusiast community is going to know this is nothing but a publishing ploy to sell magazines. Period.

Needless to say, we can expect a successor in the near future due to the air-bag controversy in the US. It will be purely speculation until Pininfarina decide to release the official photos. Plain, and simple.

    it looks good

    but
if the upper rear intakes get any lower and longer we'll be right back to a F355 :)

sometimes funny how designs go in circles

Just noted... The front plate is a photo-shop as FF is not on the streets yet and the 04 on the right is... well, of a 2004 car. Remember that in Italy, unless it is a "prova" plate, you cannot move the plate from one car to the other. They are linked forever.
    Ciao

Why is Ferrari continuing to add displacement to get more performance? Ferrari's were known in the past for their small displacement high revving 12 cylinder engines...why not go back to a 3 liter engine and max out the performance maybe...Honda got 240hp out of a 2 liter non-turbo engine with its S2000 and Mitsubishi and Subaru both get 300hp+ out of their 2 liter 4 cylinder EVO and STi with turbo...even the 12 cylinder models are getting to be massive displacement cars...what's next, a push rod engine 2+2?

i think that they need to just to keep up with the Corvettes and Vipers etc.

btw, IMO, im not a fan of that new design, IF it's even for real

That ridiculous "guess" photo by R&T looks like the product of a 430 being raped by a Caddy CTS. Pretty ghastly, and I'm confident that Pininfarina will bring forth a better design.

No comments on the projected SHP and performance? 520 shp ("only 40 more than the 430) and a 0-60 of "just over 3 sec".. hard to believe with that tiny shp bump. Wait 4 more years for 40 shp? Doesn't sound right.
I thought the 430 Cs would be 520 shp??
