OK I'll start something... To the Mr S in North Bay post a pic of your SWB. Here are some Cdn 4cams which although presently do not meet the criteria are certainly getting back up there again. The silver one Remo bought and repainted "Resale Rosso". OOPs I just remembered the red car is an alloy 2cam (they own a 4cam which Rock and I drove a while ago) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lovely cars... The white Lancia Aurelia B20 in the first photo, is it here in Canada? The racing Daytona in the last photo, is it a real one? Is it still here?
A couple of years ago there was an Aurelia Spider on display at the Taste of Little Italy by my house. Cool car. I have it in 1:18 ;-)
Yes to the Aurelia. Its a 5th series with the Nardi floorshift - the most desirable version. The spider is in the same family that you spotted as well. Neither will ever come up for sale. They purchased my Pinin Flavia HF Coupe a while back. The comp Daytona is not one of the Factory "15". Its a copy which Remo did up for a Torontonian. Its long gone BTW. Have you ever heard a Daytona with open sidepipes on the street? Brilliant! There was a real Comp owned here by Wally S. It was the ex Paul Newman Daytona GTB4 Comp. The interior was done by Caledon Auto Trim (best Ferrari interiors by far - sorry for the plug). Ed Mann the owner told me he used Gucci belts for the tie down hood straps!
Ahhh, the BBurago B24 Spider, I have it too. In fact, that was the very first model car I got - I was 8 years old at the time - and I just absolutely loved it. It was the car that sparked my interest in cars and it changed my life forever.
FYI The 365GT/4 2+2 in my pic was an ex Sultan of Brunai car. Had incredible one off features. The Lancia Spider has the curved wraparound windshield - does that make it an America?
The sad thing is most of the cars you mention, not only will you almost never seen them, but 95% of the population will think the Miata is a better sports car.
Sadly, that's true. What the f--- do they know? These are some of the best cars in existance. We know that!

Well, I have my ticket for tomorrow's 6/49 @ $27M, so I keep hoping to win, as I have a long shopping list of big $$$ classic cars I'd like to bring into Canada... (I certainly would have bought that yellow 288 prototype. But alas, the timing was not to be... )
I still can't believe you could buy a 2006 Fillipe Massa Ferrari F1 car for 2$ mil CAD. Sounds like a good deal to me!
Seems to me that Schumacher's 97 car (won Monaco and Spa) is a better deal at 770 000 euros: More likely to increase in value in the future...
3 nice ones presently in Quebec.....and they all belong to the same owner. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't mean to bump this old thread (though I do think it's front page worthy!)... Does ANYBODY know ANYTHING about a Red 275GTB in Calgary? Has one traded recently? I saw the car on a flat deck last Tuesday. The car had a plate on it, started with the most recent letter... new car? new registration? Seems like a car worthy of some discussion. I know there was also a yellow 275 here. Anyone know if that is still around?
Probably some oil exec's latest toy... In any case, it's good to hear about (and in your case, actually see) cars like this on our roads. With our dollar still doing so well, we may see more of these big-ticket cars coming into this country.
The red BB512 that used to hammer it up the DVP on a regular basis in the late 80's!! Used to hear every shif. Pure music. I would listen to this symphony from the "bottom" all the way to when we both turned off at Highway 7. Pure music. I will NEVER forget that car. Driven hard and driven well like it should be! Guy carved traffic like a pro! Den.
