I wasn't offered food during my 6 hour stint in Jail. I can say though, it's a place I never EVER want to go back to. The Drunk tank is NOT your friend. And yes, my record is still clean.

I wonder how often a judge gets involved after a person get moved to house arrest?

According to a CA attorney on Larry King last night, he stated that he has clients that when they show up to jail they get turned around and typically spend no time in jail for minor offences. His opinion was the Paris was being singled out and was not a fair representation of the situation in CA.

And she has to serve the full 45 days, not the 23 that she was supposed to do because of the ovecrowding issue. I think the breakdown is because she is finding out that she is not as special as everyone in her life has been telling her she is.

    I hope not............

    This is BS!

I just saw a woman who shot her husband in the back while sleeping get 3 F'in years!

Paris gets 45 days..... I'm telling you, I don't think this girl is mentally capable of dealing with this and it's not funny to me.

Well, she doesn't have any trouble handling the mental challenge of dealing with the media which can be the undoing of a lot of celebs. It's not like she's being shipped off to a tour in Iraq or anything horrendous like that. Dope her up and it'll be business as usual for her and over in no time ;)

Actually, didn't she get 210 days? I do not think you can compare that case to this one (considering that one was decided by a jury).

Not to pick on her, but why did she wear sweats to court? Isn't that a big no-no?

While people waited for Paris to be brought out of her house... two trucks pulled up and started unloading party supplies for a major party tonight.

You can't say you are too sick for jail.....but be hosting a huge party the first full day you're out!

Can't have it both ways... I guess tonights party at Pari's house was a bad idea by her and her family.

Paris got zero jail when she was caught drunk driving.

But try driving drunk a 2nd time while on probation, without a license, then be late to court, show no remorse, and blow-off the things the judge asked you to do...... ..that is how you turn a second DUI from 7 days in jail....into 45 days in jail.

It takes a lot of work to dig yourself that deep into a hole.

Its all going to depend on the judge..the persons attitude and the particular circumstance.

I know many people who have been sentenced to between 20-120 days in that exact same jail for similar violations. I know a few who did no jail time for similar violations.

Paris is being treated exactly the same as anyone else.

She/family/representation probably made a bad impression on the judge and hes probably a tough judge. Put those two things together and this is what you get.

The only thing that would indicate her being treated unfairly is if they made her stay the entire duration of her sentence...Ive never met anyone , rich or poor, who served their entire sentence.

I'm not sure because the Judge ruling was a bit confusing with time served, etc... but he handled the sentencing I think. The jury found her guilty of manslaughter.

    Back to Paris -

I think her parents are to blame for the party, etc. and her lack of maturity.

I don't think her issue is drugs, I think she's close to an emotional breakdown. That's not something to take lightly.

I'm watching Fox news and I think Greta & Heraldo have it right.
