And I really drove it!:D Ran her up through the gears, took some corners, slowed down driving past some hot chicks on the sidewalk, the whole shebang. I'm in lust!

The only issue I had was the width of the pedal box. I was wearing my Rocky work boots, and kept catching the dead pedal when I went to push in the clutch. A pair of Piloti's would cure that, I'm sure. I'm am insanely jealous of all you guys who get to do that whenever you want!

Must sell bike.......must sell bike NOW............

As soon as I can get my hands on one! I've rode in them but we didn't do anything interesting. Might as well have been in a sedan. I've driven a 355 before as well but same thing; slowly. Today I popped my Ferrari cherry behind the wheel. :D

Oh, do I know that feeling, VTwin! I don't know how much longer I can be happy with the Elise, as having driven a few F355s has made it seem, well, slow. :D

If mwhitesell would just go and buy Serie Fiorano #38 and sell me his (inhumanly CLEAN and) gorgeous Blue/Tan, I'd be all set... You listening, Mark? :D

Seriously, as soon as I find the right F355 and sell the Elise, I'll be able to relive those few moments a lot better... ;) Welcome to my addiction.

Oh yes! And what a sound!:D:D

I'm still concentrating on a 348, I don't think I could swing the usual $20K price difference, but if one comes my way in "deal-of-the-century" guise, I'll definitely grab it. :)

It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, I didn't really have a choice, other than barefoot.

Thanks, PAP! I'm considering doing a bunch of overtime at work to expedite the process! Once the bike is sold(soon, keep fingers crossed!:D) things will really gear up.

Good man! :D:D Thats what I did to be able to afford my 348. I worked 7 days a week, 12.5 hour shifts for nearly full 1 year to have my Ferrari in my driveway. :D:D The best years of my Ferrari life are yet to come! :D:D

Actually, Chris, that would be buffalo sh*t, but I doubt any of us could tell the difference!:D

Driving that car yesterday was real wakeup call for me. Up to now I have been somewhat lax on selling my bike, getting my finances in order well enough to do this, etc(I'm not broke, I've just been a little "loose" with the cash lately:eek:). I was going to speak with the powers that be at work today about a review, overtime and such, but circumstances prevented me. I need to get it in gear!

Before I decide that, I'd like to drive a 348. I may prefer the rawer feel I've heard so much about. I really like the 355, but finding one in my price range that doesn't need $20K in work may be the achilles heel. If I get a 355 it will be a 95 or 96 berlinetta in the $60-$70K range. But I need to get a few things taken care of financially before I can really start the search. Doesn't stop me from looking for fun right now though. But that's not healthy. :D
