I bought 2 tickets for the Montreal F1 (Fri, Sat, Sun) but will not be able to go on Friday. So I'd like to sell the 2 Friday tickets for their face value ($82). The tickets are Grandstand 2, Section 2, Row KK, seat 31,32. Please send me a PM if anyone is interested. Thanks in advance, Jack Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thursday night on Peel street.. there will be plenty of Ferrari's... Not sure, I think John Scotti does Lamborghini's somewhere downtown.. all in walking distance... last year, BMW had a crazy space downtown as well..
I'm not sure about the BMW event, but I know last year's Lambo show was also on Peel Street. Unfortunately, I've heard John Scotti might not be hosting one again this year...
I still have all 4 tickets, but need to get them a new home by tomorrow. I'll pay for 2nd day air shipping, but they need to be shipped by Tuesday. I've had a lot of messages, but no firm takers. Best offer by 10pm CDT today gets them. Buy the Friday tickets, the Saturday tickets, or all. 2 seats. Friday tickets have a $68.00 face value, Saturdays are $88.00. Each ticket has another $8-$10 in fees.
does anyone know where is little italy in montreal? there will be ferrari event, but i can't find the exact address
Well.. its on St.Laurent street.... between beaubien... all the way too umm... Mozart... the address is about 6840 St Laurent.... (that is address of Cafe Italia)
I am driving up from Massachusetts with my 355 on Thurs. and wondered if these Ferrari events were open to any of the F cars or you had to have a reservation/ prior arrangement? Thanks David
I'm headed North tomorrow for the CGP and am wondering if my Cingular phone will work in Montreal. I have nationwide roaming/long distance in the US, but have no idea if I'll be paying exorbitant rates if I use the phone. Does anyone from the lower 48 have experience?
I travel often with mine, and it works fine...fees .......sorry i cant help you there....take out a small loan before you go.
Jim, it really depends on your carrier. You must call them to find out if they have joint plans with the local service so the roaming can switch. However, I bet Cingular does. However, like Red says....take out a loan LOL. (Although I bet he DOESNT have a Cingular plan LOLLL)
if you have an unlocked gsm phone, you might want to pick up a Rogers or Fido SIM card in Montreal-- it will save you having to get 2nd motgage on your house to pay for the roaming charges on your cell bill. These are the two Canadian GSM carriers (well now they're owned by the same company - but operate as separate entities) www.fido.ca www.rogers.ca if you only come up to canada once in a while, just get a pre-paid one, but if you are coming here regularly, getting an account with them might not be a bad idea
Is there going to be an acknowledged F-chat "after party" location? We're going to the event, but it's also the bachelor party for my friend of 25 years, so we do have our own agenda, but I'm always game to meet up with other F-chatters (especially when we're on the prowl).
question about montreal grand prix. does anyone know what channel shows f1 on Rogers cable and what time (Eastern time)? i know speed channel shows it but i dont have speed channel. thanks.
Not sure exactly what channel # but TSN is broadcasting Canadian Grand Prix - Qualifying Sat. Jun 9 - 1 pm et / 10 am pt Canadan Grand Prix - Race Sun. Jun 10 - 12:30 pm et / 9:30 am pt
Just got back from the qualifying, got on the track around 11am, left at 2:30-3pm ... walked downtown a bit during the afternoon, spotted some above average cars ... but most of all ... the girls are amazing! Don't miss the Hype booth (not far from the honda behemoth). I don't care what's going on downtown tonight, I am dead, can't feel my feet nor legs. Bernie, perhaps we should hook up on monday and complain about all the stuff we missed? LOL
Meh!! Over the last 20 years, I've seen enough cars and poontang to last me a while. So I opted to stay home this evening and I grilled some marinated shrimp and salmon on the BBQ, and chased it down with a nice bottle of chilled pinot chardonnay. If anything, I might complain about how sucky the Sopranos season finale will be.
Alright, race is over, party is over, everyone sundburned to a crisp and dehydrated.....time to stand in line for 2 hours and cram into the Metro, get to your car and drive outta Montreal before all hell breaks loose. Oh yeah, and don't forget about the radar traps, traffic jams and construction on the 401....!!!
I did not get a sunburn. Unlike the 3057 people I noticed more red than their ferrari shirt! When I saw the line-up for the metro, I got scared and walked the long way via the Old Port. Sucked. Shoulda stood in line amidst sunburned sweaty guys instead. And I didn't find the McLaren displayed anywhere downtown.
I'm a blue eyed american that burns easily, but saved myself this weekend by going through a tube of sun screen each day. Not a single burn.
