new version? make up?

i am planning buy a f430 spider , dealer says he can get in two months. But my questions

1-)There is not make up on ferraris right? i mean in 2008 there will be no make up?
2-)When is new fxxx will go out, 2010 or 2012?

I think he means face lift. And the answer is no.

But as rumours go, there will be a new model introduced in 09 for 10 release as 11 model or something like that?????????? Or there will be a dino and a production gap for the V8 in the North Amercian market????? Who knows????

There may be a more HP version out later this year. Whether that's a Stradale version or just a more powerful 430 it's too early to tell. The replacement car will be out in late '09 or so.

 

According to R&T it will be an F450 for the 2011 model year with somewhere around 520hp.

 

I wouldn't put too much into that article. Did you see what they tried to pass off as pics of it?

 

Two months! Wow! I just happened to have a bridge in Brooklyn which should be available right around the same time.

we have crazy taxes
so car is costing like

350k euro = 470$

 

getting a car in 2 months is not impossible ..... i was quoted 2 months as well on my car... but i am paying way over sticker

 

Thats still alot cheaper than a F430 Spider here in Australia.

We have mega crazy taxes in Hong Kong and the wait is 2 years

 

malaysia vehicle import duty is same like in turkey. but i think is worse than turkey..ie.
m'sia government incur 105%-200% taxes on imported cars..
WTF! So it's quite difficult to own one F car here in m'sia.
by the way, roads (in east malaysia) also sucks like in india.. many holes...

If you are out of U.S. (which it looks like you are) therre may not be a "mark up" (increase in price over MSRP). If in the U.S. imports stop 8-08 and there is around a $50,000 cost over MSRP for Coupe. Don't know anything about FXX. Best

in bmw for example in 3th year of a car , they make something called Make up , they make small changes on car. Or mercedes does same

for fxxx thing i was not talking about race car fxx, i was talking about new car which will come instead of f430 (like f430 came instead f360)

 

The FXX is development for the replacement Enzo not F430



However i do have a theory regarding the replacement for the 430. If you look at the 348 and 355, they look similar and if u look at the 360 and 430 they also look alike. Ferrari work in "groups of 2" so the 450,460,505 whatever it may be will look nothing like the 430
