You forgot Massa with something like 33 points. That is and has always been Ferrari's hope for the season.

Lets not forget that the damage done to Kimi's car was done by him running into the back of his team mates car

Agreed he's only 15 points down, and while he's no Michael if Ferrari can get the car back to where it can compete with the McLarens I think he has a chance to close the gap. This all provided that he looks at the lights when he exits the pits from now on.

I don't think so. If this were true, they would have changed the nose during the yellow flag pit stop.

Give Kimi a kick in the nuts for everyone on F-Chat, will you? And a smack on the back of the head (and a copy of the rule book) for Massa too, if you dont mind!

Well, actually, I was planning on buyng Kimi a drink Saturday night, but maybe that is a bad idea. As for Massa, I will bet that MS has already done that on the way back to the motor home after the race.

And at least Massa did not leave the race and hide in the motor home.

Have a good afternoon everyone. I am off on a blind date. She told me her name was Helen Keller.

Well with all due respect, it seems that Alonso's troubles today were due to mechanical problems, based on the race commentary from Chris Slater and Chris Goodwin, I think Alonso got the fastest lap for the race, if he had not suffered from what looks like mechanical troubles, he might be as fast, if not slightly faster than Hamilton, if he had no mechanical troubles I really think it could have been a toss up, I wonder how Hamilton stacks up against such drivers as Fangio, Prost, and Jimmy Clark.

You guys are dreaming if you think Ferrari will close that gap... this is McLaren's year. I just hope LH takes the WDC... I loved watching Sato pass that punk Alonso.

Massa should do well, I still think that black flag is BS.

Kimi.... pathetic. He got the dream ride with Ferrari and choked. I'll bet he isn't with Ferrari next year.

Also, I am glad to see some of the other teams becoming more competitive.

Congrats to Lewis! I'm also happy for Nick, and especially Alex. That race was absolutely crazy, no other way to describe it. The stewards were way too harsh on Felipe and Giancarlo. I also can't believe that Alonso was passed cleanly by Sato! I'm disapointed in Fernando.

Consider the possibility that those mechanical problems came from one too many off road excursions.

What a race, I'm still pissed Fox cut the post-race press conference, especially with Hamilton winning, Heidfeld in 2nd, and WURZ in 3rd. Certainly a bizarre race, stewards should check out Alonso for cutting that corner 4 times, the first time I'm sure he gained time off it.

Since Ferrari wasn't able to close the gap last year? Massa has to follow the rules just like everyone else. I'll reserve my judgment on Kimi's race until after we figure out whether his car was actually damaged (even if it was his fault for hitting Felipe). Your last comment is the only one I agree with right now.
