I thought he bought it for himself bringing the wild seat material over to the factory. He gave the car to her at a later date, and she traded it on a Countach.

That is correct. I found all this out when I "discovered" the car about 7 years ago after it had not been heard of for 20 years prior. We sold it at auction (Christies) and it is with an enthusiastic Scandinavian owner now. Joe www.joesackey.com
