He was found to be a dud, none of it was based on anything to do on this planet. Vasco - don't know what the MCL guy has, except a defunct airline. I would of thought Bentley's/RR's more his style, but purely a guess. Koenig's are more of an extroverted bachelor's car (hello Mike Tyson ). Peter or ToddB may have more knowledge. there are some great cars locked away out here - too bad they never see daylight.
Some pics Ive taken in the past few days. All in Langley. All taken with camera phone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I thought Langley drivers only had hot rods, 69 Camaro's and Nova's (plus the odd Smart and GT4). nice camera for a phone!
So maybe I will buy a Ferrari.... http://vancouver.craigslist.org/car/349483923.html I emailed the guy. I wanna go take a look at it.
You are obviously welcome to do whatever you like and I'm sure you will enjoy it. But Phil it's NOT a Ferrari. My advice would be to save a bit more and start off with a 308, Dino GT4 or Mondial dude. Just my 2 cents.
haha yes I know guys it is a replica. The only reason I am considering it is because its a Fiero underneath...and well, I know Fieros. I don't have Ferrari money quite yet. It's one thing to have Ferrari money, but then another to have Ferrari repair bill money. I may go take a look at it just for ****s and giggles. I emailed the seller and requested more pics. I'll post them up once he emails me.
History Lesson: GM actually purchased 3 Ferrari 308s when they were doing developement of the Fiero. Some say they actually tried copying the Ferrari to produce the Fiero. I don't believe the Fiero was a copy at all...but it does have mid engine, rear wheel drive.
The panels are the Fiero are very easy to take off and replace with replica panels. Also, the Fiero a mid engine, rear wheel drive. Its the best chassis to base a Lambo/Ferrari replica off of. ok, enough about Fieros. This is a Ferrari forum. haha!

haha not quite. When I am in my Fiero and people dont know what it is...they automatically assume Ferrari. I went to 7/11 a few weeks ago..and when I pulled up and got out. Some retard said "woah damn, Nice Ferrari!" I just rolled my eyes and said "thanks" There is no point on correcting him. Clearly he knows nothing about cars.
Step away from Craigslist, do not go past the ATM machine, do not pickup the phone! This is important! You CAN find a GT4 or Mondial for close to that, if you really wanted to. Then you have a real Fcar (with lots of hands-on maintenance education to follow). But this, why - better off buying two more Fiero's, or a Ducatti, or all sorts of other things. Where to start; 1) Replica's like this are a lie, and not terribly welcomed at club drives, club meets, Fcar gatherings, Fcar discussions 2) It's not really a Fiero - would it be allowed on a Fiero drive? 3) how to ever sell it - very, very slim audience 4) it's effectively a one-off, who fixes the stuff that breaks, well - you do., who makes parts for the unique bits - well, you do. I have to get back to work, but please, oh please, don't talk to him, don't go see it, don't buy a kit car Fcar!
hahaha. Ok ok. So I probably wont buy it. I still want to go take a look at it just to see how "accurate" he claims it to be. I agree that it does have a slim audience. Its not a Fiero and its not a Ferrari. I would be kind of on my own. Haha! I will just have to stick to driving pop's Vette around until I can afford a Ferrari. I did find this on ebay. I guess Im not too far off... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-308-GTSi-FERRARI-308-GTSi-Recent-MAJOR-Service-1982-USA-Ver_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6212QQihZ006QQitemZ160126310230QQrdZ1
As for accuracy just take a good look at the pics and you will see how UNaccurate it is. That one on ebay is more like it
