16" center caps keep popping off

There *IS* another kind of center cap that's interchangeable with the plain push-in/push-out style... the older version used circlips and were more secure. I think I have an extra set of those still in factory packaging... I'm travelling but when I get back home, I'll look for it and if I can find them I'll post photos.

 

Maybe a little clear silicone from the backside would work. (you could still remove them if needed- but they should never fall off)

OK, here's the obvious difference. The package from Ferrari has both o-rings and circlips, giving you a choice. The center caps themselves are deeper witha groove for the o-ring or circlip. The main diameters of the "common" and the "grooved" versions are the same so they're interchangeable.

If you want the grooved set, PM me and we'll work it out. They do of course have the yellow/horse inserts in them.

The Superformance wheels are decent. The center caps are total garbage. I lost 3 of the 4 badges from the cap in the first week and simply pulled the remains of the caps and tossed them in the garbage. Then I moved my real center caps from the 14" wheels to the Superformance wheels and mo more problems.

I cant imagine the Factory push in type falling out. I almost ruin them every time I have to tap them out of my QV wheels. I put a round rubber washer in and tap with the wooden end on a ball pien hammer. 2 out of 3 time it cracks the plastic a little around the horse!
