After almost 20K wonderful miles in my '02 360F1 coupe, I decided to go with the Spider when upgrading to the F430 which I received last November. While it's an incredible car, after 4K miles I realized for a number of reasons, that my preference is the coupe. Fortunately, I was able to secure an allocation for a '07 F430F1 coupe which is scheduled to be completed on July 30 (last day before summer shut down on 7/31!). Here are the goodies:

'07 F430F1 - Bianco Fuji with Nero leather Alcantara interior with Grigio double stitching & electric seats.
CF driving & lower zone & dashboard, fire ext.
    Challenge grill, shields
    CCB's w/yellow calipers & tach.
    Ball polished run flats
    Rear parking sensors

One of the most difficult decisions for me was Challenge wheels vs. run-flats. I selected the run flats to extend my range for the longer trips I like to take during summer months.

Pictures in September unless I get lucky and capture a spy shot while at the factory on July 27/28th!

That sounds awesome! Exactly how I'd spec a 430 myself. I can't wait to see a white 430 with a challenge grill.

Bianco Fuji is a very cool choice! Anxiously waiting for pictures when you receive the beauty!

10-4 on the coupe. IMO proper sports cars are coupes, an they look better to boot. Congrats.

I actually think the 430 looks better as a coupe and the 360 as spider....of course the spider does give you a more visceral experience with the wind in the hair the engine roar behind your ear, but the coupe if better for the track and body rigidity.....one factor with the ferrari is the significantly better resale value of the spiders...to the tune of $70,000 better resale value!!!!

I agree that the 430, and the 360 before that, present much better as a coupe. The last good looking Ferrari Spyder was the 355, but before that you have you go all the way back to the Daytona.

I believe that the sense of the car being a sports car is lost when you take off the roof and break up the continuity of the upper body. With modern Ferraris I believe that you also throw away the countless design hours spent in the wind tunnel getting the perfect shape aerodynamically.

Good looking convertibles are never great sports cars - the Aston DB9 is gorgeous, as is the BMW Z8 but neither can be thought of as pure sports cars

For the guys who have ordered Bianco Fuji, can I ask how much this option is costing in the US? I was told by my dealer in Hong Kong that it is extremely expensive (more expensive than the ceramic brake discs).
