    Guys,

I am selling the TR for personal reasons. The perfect car is looking for a new owner. So If you know someone.........? :)

I am also stepping down as a moderator. It is time to pass on the job to someone else. I have had some great years on this forum and I saw it grow. Some people on this forum have become very good friends. I cherish that.

    Keep the spirit alive! :)

    Thanks!

    Ton

    Dear Ton,

great to talk to you last evening.
    Your decision is full understandable.
You have a wonderful family and a very stressfull job. You have spent lots of time & energy here on the board to bring people together and to keep the passion and spirit alive - MUCH RESPECT my friend!
Sadly it was a waste of time within the last year. We all know the good all time has gone, some a$$clowns hijacked the european section without any respect to the old members & rules here.
Lots of realy great ladies & gents have already signed out and left this sandbox.
But nobody can ever take you all the fantastic memories, drive outs, meetings and experiences you have lived to see - keep it in good mind my friend.
For sure you have also lost the Ferrari addiction.
No problem, no fault there is more to come and I am sure I`ll see you somewhere and someday with a Lamborghini back on the road.

All the Best to You & Yours

    Your Friend

    Wolfgang

P.S. if its to loud and clear what I have said and somebody feels offended, thats fine to me feel free to bann me & my account. I don`t care anymore.

    @ Wolfgang

I can not imagine selling a Ferrari only because of Ferrarichat, I am sure it has never been your reason to switch to Lambo too. As long as we don't know the real reason from Tom himself, I think it's not apropriate as a 'leaver' to pinpoint at Ferrarichat as a sandbox. I have been there also from the early beginning and read all the stories; the good, the bad and the sad stories. Discussing for pages about a new licence plate for your TR makes sense as long as you all like to enjoy the discussion. Those were different times, I agree on that.

But I also believe in the phrase Adopt, Adapt, Improve (OK, it is not my phrase). If you don't want to do one or any of these, then leave it there.

    @Ton
I wish you a lot of success in the future, whatever your plans are. I enjoyed the time you were here.

Ton, I wish I was in the market for a Ferrari. Yours is an absolute stunner. Whoever buys it, will love it.

Furthermore, I wish you good luck in whatever you have planned for yourself and your family. I have no idea why you would want to step out of the Ferrari world alltogether, but apparently you have your reasons. So I won´t speculate.

To me, you were always a very valued participant on the board. A voice of reason so to speak. You´ll also be missed at the various meetings, but as said, you have your reasons.

    Good luck and good bye!

Ton, it's sad to see that your car has to go. I remember the exciting thread about the day you bought it. Definetly one of the nicest examples I've seen in pictures. I am sure it's even more stunning in person. Also sad you must leave as moderator. I hope this doesnt mean you must leave the board.

    All the best.

Ton, I've been away for two weeks and as I come back it seems that the world has turned upside down!

I have no idea what happened but it will be really really sad not to see you in Tuscany. We wish you all the best and we hope to see you again in 2008!

    Hey Ton,

Too bad you're leaving the forum.. Thanks for the ride on the first Deil-meeting, those were my first kilometers in a Ferrari! I hope I meet you again in the future, so you can ride with me when I bought my own Ferrari!
    Maybe the F70 ;)

    Greetings, Rob van Haaren
