As a real fan of Mille Miglia race and all the cars that attended this wonderful cars, I'd like to share with you some images about the most precious car, in my opinion.

Mille Miglia had been an incredible race and I really sometimes hope that someone will able, one day, to built a time-machine. One of the first things I'll do will be to go to those period to see all these wonderful cars.

The chance to see the "535" is one of that experience you cannot forget for all your life.

Thanks for the photo. There is no bigger MM fan than me. I especially love the weird, small displacement cars. Any photos of some of those, by chance?

As a former participant in the Historic Mille Miglia I can say there is nothing else like it! The Italian people make it that way.

The 335S is breath taking, thanks for posting the photos. I am guessing the Oregon plates indicate it is a John Shirley car?

Four barrell Webers and four cams. It is doea get much better.

Here they're. Imagine to be in the same place, at the same time when, 50 years ago, there has been so a cruel accident, so a famous event in history that nowadays we're only able to know thanks to images and some video.

Be there on that day has been very very emotional. Exactely there, there has been everything.

I'm glad you all enjoy the post.

I've tryed hardly to contact Ferrari through my boss for managing a photoshooting for a large article on this smashing car. Nut he did not succeded! I missed the chance to see the "535" again.

    What a pity.

That car never looked so good when it was new!

It looks great now though. The memorial is wonderful....it would be surprising here but I suppose not so in Italy.

Thanks for the etceterini....they are always interesting. What is the light blue car? Is that by chance one of the astonishingly fast Simcas of that era?

Would someone care to elaborate on the accident or provide a link? Being younger then some, I have no reference point for the mentioned tragedy.
