Bit of a giveaway isn't it! It was a nice party, good food, the dealership certainly puts FoNE to shame already and that's before they build a brand new facility across the road.

FoNE still hasn't broken ground on the new dealership.

My car was SO dirty from the ride up and I hadn't had a chance to clean it, so I wasn't allowed to park right out front :) Most of the guys that know me, know that its highly likely the CS will be the dirtiest car at any given event!

Let's say, none that would be appropriate to share with my friends here at F-chat!!! If anyone is a fan of F1 and good times, make Montreal a must see in your lifetime for the race weekend. You won't be disappointed.

Birdman - holy cow, what a great write-up. Everyone, if you haven't read his travelogue, go and read it right now! I'm amazed you were able to fix it. Had it happened to me, it would have been a VERY EXPENSIVE tow truck ride home....

    Envious of your F1 experience,

Thanks Dennis! And sorry I vanished from the pack after we hooked up. As the temperature climbed, I had to bail out to a rest area to let it cool and do more troubleshooting. I forgot my damn walkie talkie! I can't believe you were hanging with David and the gang in your friggin minivan. Those guys were doing 90-110 MPH on that road full of potholes! (Rte 89). That 355 Challenge is LOUD. Man, I was behind that thing for a few minutes and I was so happy when one of the Pcars got in front of me to block the noise!

I got the long hoses that run front to back out of the car last night and they are so full of rubber chunks peeling off and falling out that it's a miracle I made it home. The whole cooling system will have to be gone through. New hoses, flush it all out, and a recored radiator. The radiator is probably too clogged to repair. Oh well, another couple hundred bucks into the bottomless pit!

They come up cheap on eBay all the time. I got my whole set for $1,000 with lugbolts and tires. The fronts have plenty of tread, the rears had enough for one season. I need to replace them immediately or it probably won't pass inspection after the run to Montreal. but hey, the tires are cheap because they are 17" not TRX!

The $425 TRX tire price is simply ridiculous. Much cheaper to change wheels.
