AP WIRE REPORT:ROCK CANYON COLORADO......JUNE 12th As reported yesterday a 1979 Ferrari 512 boxer was abandoned on the railroad tracks east of goose neck junction. investigators feared the worst that the drivers were overcome with heat exhaustion as they tried to walk along the tracks for help. The car was registered to a newly wed couple , Ted and Mary Tyson. When authorities arrived no one was in sight and the 11:15 eastbound from sante fe had just passed...Inspector Fookawi said the car was sitting on the tracks of the west bound direction and no trains were expected for a few days. The couple had been out walking all night. At 6:15 this morning Ted and Mary returned to their vehicle with 2 gallons of coolant and a rattlesnake lunch box. Seems the couple had planned on a romantic getaway in the mountains and Ted did not plan appropriatly. The car registered 41,000 miles on it and Ted forgot to do his 30,000 mile service which includes Belts and water pump gaskets.Ted had a package of silver seal in the glove box and managed to seal it up when he refilled the radiator. when interviewed Ted said, " I've learned my lesson the hard way" . On a brighter note...Mary is now expecting her first child in march 08. Inspector Fookawi commented , I never seen a couple look this bad and be so happy in all my life. There is a moral to this story....I just cant put it in words.... I take it you have some spare time on your hands. You should recreate the "good tires but not great tires" accident with the boxer in the woods next.
Looks like the couple had been fighting. Too bad they came back for the car.....I was going to sneak by with a tow truck tonight!
YES- I agree. Bouts of insanity are very common when one becomes "Boxerless." Michael, you must REALLY MISS your BBi!
Yes...its rough being Ferrariless.. The fall should bring something new to the Empty space in my Garage!
