Yep, that happened last year.

 

he was in a drag race, and the car flipped or something.

 

He was in a car rally to raise money for charity.

search= a good thing.

 

He went over a roller hill in the road and went airborne.

 

The lack of a roof probably created a low pressure above the vehicle sending it into the air or something like that.

no. i think it's got something to do with the underbody aerodynamics. even a small bump will send u flying off if u going real fast.

Yes..i think...but he customized it.

 

Yup. He ordered a spare set of Enzo doors from Ferrari, then got a local shop to cut off the bit that makes the door have its own little roof.

 

Speaking of this - how is Richard doing?

 

Looks like normal doors for me , based on how the enzo doors open.

 

He wrecked it during a charity event. I forget which the actual charity was, but the deal was, the drivers would drive their cars as fast as they possibly can on a certain stretch of road, while a cop was sitting there with a radar gun. He would get the cars speed, write out a fake ticket, give it to the driver, and the driver than paid that ammount of the would be fine to the charity. I believe he wrecked while at 130MPH.

 

Once again, how is richard doing? Those that know. PM me if need be. Just keep in mind that every little bump is greatly magnified at a speed above 150mph.

 

IIRC he was doing well last time we talked about this subject.

It isn't really "roofless" as some continue to say, but T-topped with the central portion of the roof still intacked.

I will see if I can find photos.

They open the same, and are Enzo doors, just with the top section cut off.
