I normally wouldn't post a vid here but I was so impressed with this guy's driving skills, I had to share it with you guys.

This guy is either insanely calculated or completely suicidal.

    UNREAL DRIVING SKILLS!!!

P.S. - It says this guy had a 34 second lead over Colin McRae at the end of the first day. WOW.

I've driven the roads from the IOM rally. These guys are awesome. Somewhere else there is in-car footage of the rally from a few years ago. There is one flat-out stretch where they go across a cattle grid between two posts. The gap is right around 7ft. It was scary driving a rental car through it at 25 mph, these guys were going through it at 130.

But if you want really scary take a look on line for video for the isle of man TT races...

Awesome video clip, thanks for sharing. Rally drivers can drive their azz off and that guy is one prime example! I didn't know they raced cars on the Isle of Man, I've only known it for the TT races and like Dan360 said, those are sick!

    p.s. M3 ftw, lol

AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing that vid. That man's driving skills are seriously impressive. That guy has got SKILLS!

It was almost scary watching him go that fast on such skinny roads - I don't think I would feel comfortable going 1/2 that speed on those roads.

His name is Patrick Snyers and he is from Belgium.

I too was saying that his navigator must have balls of steel to sit through that... I'm still in amazement...

P.S. - Noto - Patrick Snyers started out in the 80's in a Lancia Delta HF4WD Integrale.

    Not impressive. No comparison.

That open-wheeled, F1-styled car is lighter, faster, and has much better brakes - not to mention is better suited for those roads.

Watch the video of Patrick Snyers again and think about what would happen to that F1 car after landing some of the jumps at the speed of the E30 M3 that he was piloting.

That Patrick Syners vid is CONTINUALLY impressive.

are u kidding? first off its an Reynard f3000 which is nothing like a formula 1 car, makes no where near the downforce or power or really anything else aside the fact that its open wheel and it looks a little like a f1 car. and i dont see how its not as impressive, that M3 is a purpose built racecar as well, and make no mistake about that because prodrive (who nown runs the subi team in rally and the astin martin le mans car) doesnt screw around with the cars run and no doubt that car had some nice little extras.
i was never sayin patrick snijers (who i have been a fan of for a long time) doesnt have skillz, and i was never comparing the two either. i was just saying that its another cool video. but if i were comparing the two id say the guy in the f3000 was crazier for driving a car at 120+ around turns that are barely 2 lanes wide with concrete walls and trees and other things that would suck to drive into or off of on either side. although i would admit patrick snijers is a very impressive driver and has proven his worth many times, and i dont know the driver in the f3000 video. both videos show alot of skill.

Both videos show insane driving skills on roads that leave very little room for driver error. Much kudos goes out to both of these drivers!
