What is a supercar? This word was first coined by a journalist back in the 70s when he first wrote about the then Miura. A supercar must look outrageous, blindingly fast, bloody expensive & so rare you'd consider yourself luckier than spotting a meteor if you see one while walking down the street. Is the 599, 575, Testa, Boxer considered? Or Enzo, F50, F40 etc? How about Lambos? Pagani? Koenisegg? Bugatti? Carrera GT? Spyker? & those defunct Vector, Cizeta.... It's quite interesting, from some recent readings I realised a lot of cars were based on the diablo chassis, engine & some of those brands above have a few guys who's actually worked in Lambo before.

Woohoo this is the fun of internet. Thanks for the info. http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fontmesa/la-macchina/ but they want me to pay US$20 just for that? La Macchina is a bold script suitable for logos, letterheads & headlines. It also resembles the lettering used by Lamborghini Automobiles. Photographer and type designer Michael Hagemann founded FontMesa in 2000. He specializes in heart-warming styles of the old west and fonts for sign lettering, all at great prices. Some fonts are classic Italian (Tuscan) and French revivals while others were created from a sample of lettering in old documents. In Rodeo Clown and many others, FontMesa adds an original lower-case if the original font had none. The wonderful Mavericks Luck has multiple versions intended for layering in different colors. FontMesa continues to research and find long-lost type from the 1800s, then revive them painstakingly (no automatic scans) into the digital world where they will never be forgotten.
a related question. would tuner cars be considered supercars? e.g. ruf's ctr3. fits the criteria. faster than cgt. but based on plagiarised r&d. must supercars be factory ones?
pls send me the porsche font . i've added the free download site for la macchina in one of my earlier posts
Don't know man, I was actually thinking of typing Ruf. I guess they can be considered one since they are TUVed to produce their own chassis, gearbox & engine nos. I don't think those "aftermarket stuff" should be considered. I would consider the SLR among them. Not sure if the NSX should be even considered as well, it is afterall built in a special factory, developed by selected staffs & very expensive for an Oriental.
Not plagrised, but shared R & D hor. most hor factory hor endorse tuners hor, share data hor with tuners hor, especially tuners hor all TUV approved hor manufaturer lei. so hor 9ff, techart, gemballa, strosek, ruf, gruppe m, car graphic, sportec hor all are "manufacture" hor in their own right lei Americans one hor like champion, psi, fitzgerald, roock, manthay, heffeners, rs tuning hor all "tuners" Aiyah just a piece of paper lei... I am hungry someone feed me hor
Don't be "yao-gui" (hokkien for hungry ghost) forgot to tell u I don't eat lunch or breakfast especially after I bought the orange one but you can share some sandwiches with me if you don't mind. Dinner's home cooked & you don't want to meet mum. No, i'm not joking. Maybe we can get Tiong to blanja us
Wha no lunch hor or breakfast siong lei I usually miss breakfast but lunch hor mus eat hor. So three meals out ah....aiyazzz if kor kor tiong treat us hor, ask him lei since we both eat so little hor, ask him take us to buffet hor, straits kitchen, hyatt hor lots of yummy food lei...kakaka I am hungry lei NOW.
i am in this week and the next so no problem. set it up jon, and let me know. lunch is good, dinner and weekends are family time.

On Tuesday morning Eugenio Molinari established two new world water speed records on Lake Como, navigating a boat, fitted with an engine of a Ferrari F430. The two records were set in the categories Endurance Group B class S1 and S2, which are dedicated to Granturismo boats with a minimum weight (including commander and fuel) of 1,100 kg and 1,450 kg (with ballast) with an average speed of 123,288 km/h and 122,035 km/h on the running kilometre. Boat and engine derive from serial production, while the engine has been slightly altered so that it could be used on water. This is not the first time that shipmasters have used engines from Ferrari for competitions and high performances. Already in the year 1953 a boat had been fitted with an engine from Ferrari, a 375 F1. Yesterday's record-setting boat will be part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of Ferrari at the upcoming weekend in Maranello. "I dedicate this record to Luca di Montezemolo, on the occasion of the 60 years of Ferrari; Montezemolo leads the company with passion and great innovative energy, maintaining the spirit of the Prancing Horse," said 71-year-old Eugenio Molinari after setting his 71st record. The mid-mounted engine, a V8 90° with 4308 cc and 490 BHP at 8,500 rpm, propels the Berlinetta from Maranello. Its maximum torque is 465 Nm (47,4 kgm) at 5,250 rpm. For the employment off shore the engine had been modified in the areas of its respiration, exhaust and control. The cooling system remained unchanged, while the radiator paraflu/air had been changed to a heat exchanger paraflu/acqua. The cooling circuit of the latter uses a pump external to the engine, moved by the specific transmission of the boat, which pumps cooling water to the heat exchanger and the exhausts of the engine. During the last half a century powerboat racing legend Eugenio Molinari, who is now 71, has triumphed numerous times in a glittering career. His tally includes being Formula 1 world champion with engine on board, four times the European champion and four times as Italian champion. Yesterday he set his 71st record. Molinari won the Pavia-Venezia race, the longest race on water in the world, eight times and set the average speed record of 188 km/h at the "Giro del Lario" race, for which he was awarded the title "Fastest man on earth on navigable waters". The Italian Olympic Committee, Coni, awarded the prestigious "High speed gold medal" to Molinari; the medal is exclusively for men, exceeding 200 km/h. Which gor gor? Only me & Tiong know. Eric I think the car wash thing was discussed many months ago. Most wash it @ that Whitley rd Esso next to SJI since they pay extra attention to exotics. My resident Indian contractor washes mine but my maid will be doing it soon. Sometimes I wash myself but I haven't waxed my G till date since half of it is stickered. We've got a friend who even bought a blower to blow dry his Spyder! We've got about twenty cars for trackday but mostly Lotuses, a few 911s & less than 10 Lambos.
Kor kor lovett also know. okie i ask him So u arrange hor...heheh man i drooling just thinking of food and seeing merc and ur orange thingy kakakak
I use to use Kevin at the Esso station...but stopped using him coz he talks too much and drops too many names. I felt uncomfortable when he started getting too "friendly". I have contracted one of my office drivers to wash my car on a daily basis. I also get Ah Ming (former HSM) to polish my car every 6-8 weeks.
less than 10 lambos ??? come on guys ... the porker group has an absolutely AWESOME showing on track days ... is this the best we can do? crikey !!!
Yup.. i believe there can be more than 10 Lambos.... btw... may i knw how many F and L owners here... pls..
