It's a wine tasting convention, actually, ask dstacy! You clear the exhaust and rubber marbles from your pallete before proceeding with a fine deep drink! Followed by a cigar........
Looks to me, like Massa is positioned rearward of LH, and that the expelled Champagne is not on a threatening trajectory, for LH at least. But it surely looks funny
Yeah, put MS and FA in the same car and see what happens. The Renaults of 2005 and 2006 were superior to the Ferraris.
That's a stupid point. Does the fact that the Ferrari was clearly superior to all other cars diminish Schumacher's achievements? Besides, as Andreas correctly pointed out, we would never have known as Schumacher feared an equal competitor alongside him. It's not like Schumacher was Senna, who teamed with 3 different WDCs...
Some here live in the past and have to drag MS and AS in every thread. This is really getting boring...
2005 and 2006 is twice....and FA didn't run any more people off the road than MS did, so why the constant knocking of FA, and the constant hero worship of MS?
While watching the ceremony, an interesting thought came to mind. If Vettel had placed on the podium, would he be allowed to have the champagne? He's 19 in a country with a 21 law.
Never said Fernando didn't deserve his titles. But it's a bit misleading to say he beat MS to the title in 2005. May as well say Fernando beat Ralf to the title or Webber or Sato. MS was not a factor that year thanks to the Bridgestone tires. The reality is he beat Kimi to the title that year as everyone else had less that half the points Alonso did. And he did a great job of it considering his young age and his inferior equipment. It was in 2006 that MS was his only true rival and he beat him by a healthy margin also. It's a bit wide of the mark to say that I was knocking Alonso. It seems to me that maybe there's a bit of hero worship on your part going the other way...
hahaha..thats a funny pic. maybe thats a secret code or something that Hamilton's on his way to Maranello... : D
true. Schumi did not come a useless driver all of a sudden, and Ross didn't come a useless tactician all of a sudden either.
