Original 360 Radio

I think the original 360 radio looks much better than most of the glitzy upgraded radios people install --- were the original radios so bad in terms of sound that so many were taken out? thanks

 

Got a 04 360, the radio in this "supercar" is horrible! you have to change or upgrade it. the controls are bad as well.

The Becker radio in the 430 is just as bad. Both are POS.

 

I must say this is the first car were I could careless about the radio! I have mine preset for one channel and that is the local weather, traffic, news channel, just tell me how the traffic is doing!!!!!! I even have the 6 cd changer, couldn't tell you if it works!

when I'm not listening to the motor, I use the becker CD/radio in my 360. It works great. The controls take some getting used to however. Once you understand how to work it, it's fine. I suppose if you want to drive around bumping your radio, then it's not in that class. But for just listening to something while taking a trip, it does just fine. I've never had any issue with the sound quality, and as you point out, it looks much nicer than all those after market units jammed into the dash. At least that's my personal opinion on the subject

I dont think bad accurately describes the radio that CAME OUT of my 360.

Is this all you changed in the sound system? Did you notice a big improvement in the sound, or was this change really just intended to bring in Nav and backup camera capabilities?

Thats much better than the stock crap radio.

 

that is the best way to describe the radio. I have a custom system similar to the one shown above--as in the deck. The speakers are awful as well. I installed a matching "box" behind the seats with two 10" Diamond Subs. The box matches the leather and the sound is crazy good. I'll post some pics in the next day or so. Also, backup camera is a nice feature to have as well.

I take my car on long rides and the nav comes in handy too.

Becker is the best stuff in the world to my opinion. Nothing can beat it in looks neither. The rest looks all like pimp my ride cdplayers to my opnion. They have great value on Ebay in Europe, they are wanted all the time.

Ok, the speakers are crap in my 360.
