Not a single problem! It was a great trip, Ostrava(Czech) to Freiburg(Germany) to go and get my hand checked out. So it was 1200km there sitting on about 180-200km/h and 1100kms back(we went the right way!) sitting on about 200-210km/h. For about 30mins of the trip back we had a few cars going pretty dam fast, 230-240km/h around some bends( The roads werent straight, but I wouldnt call it a corner either). Had fun with an Aston. On the way back we did it in 7hrs and 20mins. With a girfriend with a very weak bladder it wasnt bad. It just blows my mind, that such an old car can run for such a long time at a high speed. Anyway, some pics! Also some pic's of what the doctor was inspecting, Ti in my hand! Enjoy. Cool pics mate. I took my 348 for a nice drive around 1 month ago and I mostly sat on 160-170km/h and got up to 220km/h. I was coasting around all the bends at high speed with ease. The speed limit for that road is 100km/h, but I felt SAFE in my 348 at those speeds. The car is 16yrs old this December and drives better than all the new cars I have driven. It has not squeeks, rattles or clunks. It is an awesome machine and I love it!! Your car also looks great, love those wheels. Your hand looks nasty though.
That 348 looks absolutely sweet with those wheels and the original style lower black trim! If I were in the market for a 348 tomorrow I would want yours Erich
So what's the story with your hand?! Great job on the 348 road trip, by the way. These cars get better the more that you drive them.
No they are my girlfriends legs I live in Frydlant, which is 25km from Ostrava, but no one knows where it is The man who I have most respect for on this forum site! Your right, the more I drive it the better it is, but I dont really have time to drive it much. But I try as often as I can. My hand was crushed when I crashed in a bike race. Cycling bike that is. 6 breaks in two fingers plus the join was pretty bad too. I had the operation in Germany, crashed in Italy, live in Czech.... go figure. But I had to go back for them to check it out, so it was a nice reason to drive the 348.
