Yeah, I waited for my ride and turned out to be anticlimax when I collected on Monday. Didnt drive as good as I dreamt. Anyway, car going thru usual tinting and license plate mods now. I pm u my contact and we catch up next week?
right, i clearly am to blame. as a famous politician once said, "dont talk c*ck!". bro, if it makes you feel better, go ahead and credit/blame me for jumping. i dont mind, just give me a ride when the baby arrives, woohoo!
Morning fellas. Seems you've all been playing in this sandbox without a mod for some time. Now, while I don't want to discourage fun, I do want to point out that there are some rules that seem to be getting ignored in here, and I've been sent in to ferret out the bad boys. Let's review. 1. no profanity, and no circumventing the filters by adding spaces to words to make them ok. here's an "e x a m p l e" . Use that method with profanity, and you'll get a time out on the steps. (That's US for a short term ban.) 2. Multiple accounts. THERE ARE NO USERS WHO ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. I'm going to be doing so IP checks this weekend, and then looking hard at any IP that has multiple users posting from it. You know who you are. If you ask me to delete your second, third or however many accounts you have, then I'll do that, and there will be no harm, no foul. (contact me by PM for this.) But anyone I catch with multiple user ID's over the weekend who hasn't contacted me faces a PERMANENT BAN. 3. Abusing other members. Personal attacks are not allowed. I'm certainly willing to let some verbal jousting go on, but direct attacks on other folks here will not be allowed. time outs will be hused here, too. I'm going to do some cleaning up in here over the weekend, then I'm gonna let you guys play nicely with each other. I'll be stopping back now and then to see what's going on, so let's all get along and try to stay within the spirit of the rules here, OK?? I'm also open to suggestions, so hit the PM button if you have any good ideas about how to get this neatened up. Dave M
Hey, are you the same SM in bmw forums who drives or used to drive an M3? Have not been there for ages.

Hi hi! Nope... totoseow is the one who bought the Maserati MC Victory. I am the Maserati 4200GT and (awaiting 997 boxster S); new Maserati Granturismo is to replace the 4200GT. Boxster S is for wifey. Thanks for the links of people-cars! Cheers!
Thanks! We should all meet up one day. Quite a few new members here. Totoseow, FFC & winkelhock did join us for a morning drive last month. Think I missed out Absolut = red 355GTS & probably a few more who went MIA Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Sam? Welcome to the forum, we need more Ferrari blood here. Can you tell us about your specs & maybe some pictures? I heard that AutoCulture has opened their doors for other cars again & Ben (ex-HSM workshop manager) has been transferred to be their workshop manager & now oversess anything from some vintages to AMG SLKs to Paganis. They used to charge a most reasonable S$50/hr but I'm not sure about it now & if the hours clocked are what they should be (same for any workshops). Since you're unlikely to work on the car yourself, any properly set-up workshops IMHO with integrity (very rare) who can give warranty on their work should be fine. To be frank I rarely hear of workshops giving warranty these days, they'll say your car is old & this leads to that, not our fault etc etc. So, go wherever you feel safe & friendly. I think HSM should be able to take good care of your new toy as they have all the records & factory update campaigns. 360 has been generally reliable but do expect to spend S$5K/yr for it on anything from tyres etc. I used to do my servicing @ specialist workshop & a 12Litres Shell synthetic+filter cost me S$250. You can do those multi-points check like topping up wiper etc. yourself. For painting, look for the oldman from Lim Yew Boo @ 3rd floor of SinMing autopoint or Ah Long above Eurosports. Is the Testa being restored @ Gemballa a local car?
We just switch rides like Rara bro this no more jerks unless you slip My next headache is where to park it
Nice picture! (drool) yup, really looking forward to meeting you guys... please drop me a note if there is a drive ok? I am only off on alternate sundays so saturday drives are pretty out for me... sigh... =( See you sometime soon! Cheers!
hmmm I must have been mistaken then. I was told that Ben is not in the workshop but on the car rental side of the biz. But his experience would definately add value to the workshop.
Hi Lung, yes he was but Paul's going back UK for good so Ben's taking over. Are they the same dealer for Gemballa? Thought it's another set up?
Which hospital are you with? Absolute's been pretty busy in the surgery dpt. There's quite a few specialists in the group as well but not on board here. There's about two, three groups of us with two others that usually have breakfast or supper tea/coffee. I prefer a quick 1hr drive but usually go alone.
Can't be you right? You never quite like Porsche. Which reminds me of user RO1 who's romancing his black 997GT3
