Pub Fiction/Houston

I think our next Pub Fiction gtg is on June 6th. I don't know about any other happenings, but I hope to see you there.

 

Maybe July 6???? LOL!

We have been having some Happy Hours there!!

hey guys...yeah, we are DEFINITELY doing it in early June. I might have to be out of town on the 6th, but im trying to push it back to the next day. If i can, I am game for the 6th, if not, then the 13th. I will know by tomorrow.

Where does everyone else stand on the date? Has anyone sniffed around to see if the other Fcars and Lambos, etc can make it out that date?

 

last time they all trickeled in from 5pm to 8pm.
the majority will be there closer to 5pm. several of us probably between 4:30 and 5

if there is a big response on the happy hour thread that we will post in the next few days, we will have a lot of the front spots coned off for us

 

ok guys, the 6th is officially out for me so I am going to throw out either the 5th, which is a Thursday, or the next Friday, the 13th.

so lets get people's opinion, and ask around, then we can set a date!

 

I have never been to one of these nights but I would be interested if all are welcome to join in. Count me in for the 13th (at least for now, you never know when I might catch a flight somewhere). I could most likely make the 5th if that is the date chosen...let me know.

 

Jason, I think we should shoot for Friday the 13th. That way most people won't have to worry about work the next day. Except people like me....

I just bought my 360 F1 a few weeks ago and would like to show up, BUT, I have been to PUB Fiction on a few occasions and the parking lot is super crappy and small. Isn't there a better venue around inner loop Houston?

I agree. Also I think it's pretty ridiculous that you have to pay 12 or 20 bucks to park in a bar in the afternoon. I vote for a different venue.

 

I'll be there on the 13th if it is still on and I still have my car. It is currently on sale on FerrariAds as of today. I decided to get an F430.

Anyways, I'm down for Pub Fiction. Great location and Jason knows the owner to where he can block the parking lot for us if we can get a good number. I don't mind paying for parking. It's only like $12 and it goes into the evening. That's a small price to pay to be able to have a great time and be able to see the cars for my own security.

 

parking lot is actually pretty good and IMO is a perfect size. it will hold 40 cars or so. if we could fill that whole lot, i would be pleasantly surpised. plus, I can guarantee front row spots for us. As far as the price.. it's basically whatever they charge for the Valet (pretty normal for a hot spot in midtown) + whatever tip you want to give. I'll give them credit too...last time they busted there butts arranging cars for some people that showed up a little later.

We got a lot of positive feedback on the venue, the patio is right by the lot and the cars are highly visible.

We will most likely do the next happy hour there and while we are all hanging out, we can always throw around some ideas of other places!

What about all your buddies in the F club of Houston? do you talk to them a lot?
