Great combo. How many 575's were built in manual?

Awesome car - very nice - congrats.. Did you consider a 550 as well or did you opt directly for the 575?

I considered a 550 as an addition to the Maserati. But that did not make much sense to me as they are both nice GT cars. So I opted for the 575 as a replacement for the Maser.

How hard did you have to look before you found a manual? Or was it just the right combo for you regardless of transmission?

Actually, I kind of stumbled onto this car.

It was a customer's car that I had seen at FoW and had asked if it was for sale. I later brought my Maserati in for service and was told they had talked to the owner and he was interested in selling. It kind of took off from there.

I realize I was pretty lucky to find a Manual. I do love the F1 cars but I was concerned about long term maint costs (as this is a daily driver). Also, I liked the idea of a more scare version.

Good work, there are too many F1's - a manual is a nice change. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the F1 paddle shift, but i'd go for a conventional transmission every time..
