    for a Testaroosa . . . I accidentally hit return.

    '85-86 . . .

Emailed the guy with the black one in So Cal for 58k . . .

I did an EFI conversion on my 308 and I'm contemplating doing the same to the 12 along with the diff upgrade . . .

Many people do their own maintenance like 308 guys?

Have lift so that will make things easier.

    Hoorah.

    Thanks for that info.

Is there a selection of tires that work on the older metric testa wheels or are you stuck like with the 308's.

I really like the spline drive set up . . . how much are new wheels if tire choices are lean?

I'm probably going to look at JSelevan's car on Sunday.

    Thanks,

    Sean

What tires are available in metric sizes?

Got all the F car books out on the table . . . I've got the bug bad :)

Can you give us some info on the efi conversion you did. My boxer is set for its EO this winter and I am contemplating an efi conversion. I hope not to have to reinventing the wheel.

From my experience there really are not great metric tire choices. Or put another way more modern rubber has totaly transformed my boxer from grip feel to ride quality. Given the upgrades you are prposing for a testarossa it seems you are planning on really driving in which case forget about metrics.

Is there a good aftermarket source you know of for the rear diff upgrades?

Here's a pic of my 308 motor . . . there's details somewhere in another thread but to be short it's run by a Haltech E6x and I just finished eliminating dizzy's and putting on direct fire coil on plug ignition . . . motor has big cams and high comp forged pistons . . . 0-60 about 5.5 sec's and I have a port injection nitrous setup I'm putting on . . . oops got excited there . . . checked out a '86 this morning (unfortunately wasn't what I was hoping for) and the fuel injector bung/adapters looked different sizes than on the 2V . . . look the same as 308 4V. All the other stuff would work pretty well though.

Figured that was the deal with tires . . . wasn't sure if I was missing something though.

Regarding the diff there's a couple aftermarket people I would approach first that make racing P car diff's (Guard Transmission is one) but I have a feeling the cost would justify me having a go at making it myself.

P.S. How do I paste a link to another thread?

    Thanks,

    Sean

I noticed it at a dealer on 96th St across from Tom Woods Porsche/Audi. I hear its a one owner car (accord to one of the guys in Tom Woods). Its red, I think with tan interior.

I am the biggest fan of the early cars with the knock-offs and the single mirror. I just sold my car and have a number of people looking so good luck finding one!
