    v.....

this time, i can't be held responsible for this rumored acquisition. however, with that said, the 930 turbo did arrive yest......

holy googly moogly!!!! you need to swing by the house to check it out and give me a tutorial. beautiful car, a creampuff and a definite collector material.....but i m luke warm on it so far (translated: ...i am already hating it). too RAW.....too much of a beast. i am afraid i will spill the latte on my laps if the turbo boost kicks in.

    V,

Not talking about Tom. We all know he goes through cars faster than I go through scalpes in the OR.

    Waiting..... :)

I meant to say occurrence--sorry for the error, didn't get much sleep last night.

Tom, as far as the 930 is concerned, I owned mine for about a year and I still couldn't drive it just right! It's hard to keep the turbo spooled up when upshifting gears....you end up with a no power...tremendous power...then back to no power scenario only to have the turbos kick back in again. Definitely a lot more difficult to drive well compared to the latter sequential twin turbos.

    Steve,
I figured you weren't! The car should be here later tonight--I really can't wait for it to get here! I wonder how long it will take for people to quit saying "hey, isn't that Steve's old car?"...

Thanks again for selling me the car--if you want, you can just continue to hand them down to me when you're done with them--what's next? I can see myself driving a "formerly owned by Steve" 360 CS in the near future....

    V

So if this is true, it begs the question: What did the good doctor order? :)

Tom, do you ever drive it fast enough for the turbos to kick in? Correct me if I am wrong, but I didn't think one could get going fast enough around the Plaza for the turbos to spool up!!!! :)

    (sorry man. I couldn't resist.)

    V,

I am very happy for you. I can't wait to hear your initial impressions. Please call me tomorrow. If folks talk about it being my old car, just remind them that you own it now and you pitty the fool who was crazy enough to sell it - and slap Parr up side the head. LOL It may not do any good, but you will feel better. It never hurts to try and put a Lambo hater in his place. :) Love you Chris!!

Took delivery of the car last night.....HOLY **** !!! Absolutely amazing! I'm at work now but I'll post impressions when I get home (I haven't even had a chance to drive it yet). Thanks Steve and Randy! If anything, you guys under-described the car!!!

Ha! Now that's pretty funny! Gotta love that song!

I guess I've never heard of a car shower before either...maybe I should trademark the term now just in case it becomes a big hit!
