I'm pretty impressed with the videos and info I've read on the phone, I think its worth a shot... how many of you are planning on buying one? I'm sure it'll have a few bugs, but its got to be better than my treo 700p which should be condemned for bug infestations.

I heard from a good source that the first gen may have it's issues and that the second gen is already done....third in r/d now.

Mebbe waiting for # 2 is the way to go?

It definitely looks cool, though! :)

I was all for it, until this week there are way to many "what ifs" for me to get it now. After they come out and people can get there hands on it maybe I'll pick one up, but I have concerns with the screen, If its like y psp or ipod it will scratch and get smugged way to much and way to easy.

I will once the hype has sort of died down. So probably more towards the end of the year. It all depends on weather I can unlock the phone and put it on Rogers service here in Canada.

I orignally hated the idea. I'm liking it more and more. But I don't think I would buy one unless I could get an unlocked one where I could get Tmobile service. I'm still worried out that big touch screen getting scratched up or broken, and the price is too high.

It seems interesting but I must say I already have a proper phone with no urge to get another gadget.

It seems that these 'phones' aren't really phones anymore. I guess you can make an analogy as in how cars are becoming to technological with self-parking, 8-speed trannys and all the other crap.

I'm an owner once the price comes down and it becomes compatible with AT&T's 3G network.

Nope, I have Verizon and the newest Blackberry - which does much of the same stuff without the eyecandy.

I am tired of my 3G Blackjack running out of batteries every 4 hours- yes, hours , not days. No 3G sounds great to me. I want to see one first but the marketing is working on me.

I'm bias since I'm with Motorola. ...so wait for Motorola's Q9h which will be available for GSM in a few weeks. Windows Mobile 6 OS, 3G, and lots of features the iPhone can't do; plus, it probably won't cost as much.

i love my ipod. i can live without it, but it's a very nice accessory, and my next step is getting a cd player with an auxiliary port so i can plug it in. (since i already have an aftermarket cd player, all i have to do is spend 100 bucks on a new one so i can get free installation, as compared to buying a dock for 150, plus tools/installation, etc.) but i don't think i need the phone. i'm getting ready to switch from spring to t-mobile (thank god) and have been looking at the dash, something that has the capability to play mp3's as well.

WM6 is awesome! It's stable and with a fast processor, the overall user experience is great.

No way I'm getting this. First off its Apple and second it's overpriced IMO as are most things these days.
