understand mate. we manual drivers will prob be "out-moded" very soon. just like the horse power inflation, sooner or later the available power n torque will be so tremendous that no human can shift gear effectively. in my HUMBLEST of opinion, this is prob one of my last few chances of driving a real manual, and before the decade is up manual cars, if any, will be priced more expensive then semi-auto boxes.

found it at a dealer located near infamous hawker centre near infamous circle, named after a certain type of road in Germany.

Haha very diplomatic way of putting things. You're right, the manual box in the LP is offered as a $30k option, hope I didn't hear wrongly.

Boy I miss the way how my Egear downshifts in Sport mode.

the reality of owning a self shifter is that in city driving, it can get rather tiring. stuck in masive jam yesterday, was at one stage cursing myself fr driving the 360 instead of the 645 or 4200, but all that changed during the evening post dinner, on West Coast highway.....

i tested the lambo G E-gear couple of months back. i think the dark blue unit that belong to Eurosports. apparently it had its E-gear software "upgraded", find that up shifting its quite smooth, down shifting rather jerky....or is it the other way round.....

going to HSM today..any folks heading there?? circa lunch time. wanna check the belt tensioner that you mentioned. also wanna enquire abt loose left gear paddle on the 4200. plus checking out a M3 fr sale there, owner prob bot a new maser/ferari. killing 3 birds with one stone.

    Good morning!

It is done, I have been officially inducted to the darkest side of motoring nirvana.

The Arancio Borealis has morphed into Grigio Avalon. Went through some plastic surgery.....

For the first time in my life, it feels so good to be so poor. Kind of unbelievable.

Sorry bro, had to appease the Home minister first then wash the car but the next thing I know, it was thundering shower :(

So, I went to polish the exhaust tips :D

Now, while I was doing all those, I can't help but complain what the hell am I doing all these when I just paid so much money to them & people are getting their ride in the showroom while I get it from the driveway #!*!? oh & those stains & cig. ashes....

But my next worry is unfounded, it went through my basement without much drama :)

Don't worry bro, we'll meet afterwork. Don't dare to drive around for I know I won't find a good parking lot when I return.

Anyway, a BIG thanks to Lung, Phil & Rara for the unyielding support. All the dark warlords :D

Oh no I wish people don't bother me then cos I always do it wrong & they'd thought how come suddenly no sound huh :D

Anyway, my shift travel on the gate & box is now substantially shorter, providing quicker changes.

Other than that, I lowered it by 30mm, added a 145mm wide body kit & it's 280mm longer. Crap, hope it doesn't look like a kit car now but it's got some character :D

went to HSM. there is some event there, so i was "pushed" to the extreme corner, where the Maser QPs are. all the senior mechanics are involved as well, so decided to check another day. couldnt get my 4200 loose paddle shift fixed as well, but found out fm the juniors it will take circa 0.5hr, so fixed friday morning.

i actually went there to view a M3, tested the car, low mileage with one owner and high paper(80% PARF). tot would be a good short term car to punt around with.
