You can rent a car very cheep. Thrifty is the cheapest. reserve it before you go on-line. I rented mine for 8 days unlimited miles for just $160. but reserve it online and you wont even have to give them a credit card till you get there. How long are you staying in LA? if you go for more than 7days i recommend the drive to Vegas.... Heck even if you go for 3 days i still recommend taking the road trip. You wont be sorry. are you going for business or pleasure? Also i recommend to stay at least one night. i wont waste 3 hour drive and then leave to go back the same day. that's 6 hours of driving that you can spend at the better time at the strip clubs. Some of the hotels have topless swim pools too. Just a bit of advice, leave the shorts at home
i am the same way with the rides too. i cant find the picture of the other ride but it was scarier than that one. the stratosphere is the highest tower in Vegas and has 3 rides up there. its over a 1000 feet high with the rides on top. use to have a roller coast up there but was shut down. truly amazing view. they even have a restaurant up there that rotates once every hour for a complete 360 view Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Woke up this morning to find a 3mm thick sheet of ice over Nicole's windscreen on her ute. The top of the roof, rear windscreen and ute torneu cover were also covered in around 3mm of ice. FIRST time I have ever seen that here before in my life! It is not even that cold here at the moment. 2.5C and I am sitting here in my budgie smugglers and no shirt on. This place has gotten down to -1C before and I have never seen ice anywhere. It's all about Climate Change ! We are having floods and bad weather in NSW (2 weeks ago) and Victoria (now). What with global warming and sea level rise as defined in the IPCC report, the Qld Gold Coast future lifestyle (flooding, storm surge etc) is looking bleak.
