There has been an exhaust system recall a few months ago for some F430s to change the exhaust brackets which were cracking. Check if it has been done on your F430 and if it needs to be done. Also, there was an issue related to the oil filter, an upgrade for earlier F430s.

I took my 2006 F430 F1 in for an oil change two weeks ago. I also had the brake fluid flushed (for an upcoming track day). I took delivery in Oct 2006 and the car had 1200 miles on it.

There were a couple of "factory upgrade campaigns" where the dealer updated some of the software in my car. Not sure exactly what it was, but it took an extra hour or so to get everything uploaded and checked out. That part was covered at no charge.

Here is a pic of my car "on the rack" at my local Ferrari dealership:

I just had a service done and there was also a campaign that had something to do with "wrapping the oil filter" or something along those lines in some kind of heat protective material. I could be completely wrong but I think that's what they said. Anyway, warranty covered half the oil/filter service because of this campaign.

There are a few "campaigns" for the F430 to be checked. Make sure your dealer runs the vin# with the Ferrari system to check for "open" campaigns.
A few are, the oil filter as mentioned( make sure they dont charge you for an oil filter as part of the service), exhaust brackets, a couple for the transmission depending on stick/F1, as with any Ferrari, depending on serial # and build date, the campaigns are different. Push the dealer to check all of them.

The redesigned exhaust bracked was found cracked and replaced at 9000 miles Yes, I said redesigned.

The oil filter attachment fix is important. A friend lost his and threw a rod.
