I hate corvettes, but havent they been winning over ferraris for the past 3 threes in racing...give or take??

Lets stop hijacking this thread. Who cares what car is faster. It doesn't matter what you drive, there is always someone else that is going to have a faster car. I have owned both Ferraris and Lamborghinis. They are both great cars, but when I go to the track, I drive a race car and not a street car.

I am actually glad you posted it. I learned alot from your post that I didn't know. My fiance says I spend too much time learning about cars and I should go work in a car dealership selling them. I say, you can never learn too much about something you love!

 

I'll sell you a car dealership. Why work for them if you can own the whole enchilada?

I don't see any Supercars. Unless you feel the SLR is a supercar...what else is there as a super car. Just because Fred and Robert put velvet ropes around their cars does not mean those are "super"-cars.

 

I am done with the supercar debate.

 

as long as we(guys that will be attending our run) all consider them super cars, I think thats whats important at the end of the day. This is all about fun and SUPER cars on July 7th, for the people that will be in attendance.
And i must add, Mike(and your side kick Peter)LOL & Alex you guys have done a super job putting this run together. 37 Super Cars so far and 1 week to go.

 

Then stop posting BS about what great cars are going to come and hype up this get together as a "supercar" get together when in fact there is not one supercar on that list.

By your posts you must be 16 years old. "Oh whow another supercar confirmed..." , "this is going to be soooo great..."

Take Alex for example who simply posts the list of people going. Plain and simple and then you and your little side kicks come in "oh isn't that great..."

Here:

A Lambo (any kind), a 360, 430, 550 etc are not Supercars. Some off the mill Lotus Elise is not even close to a supercar neither is a robot produced Porsche.

Just because you think a Gallardo is "super" and by definition it has 4 wheels and an engine that makes it a "car" does not make a Gallardo a "supercar" (Automobile Definitions)

First: Im 13 1/2 years old. lol. I am 1 1/2 years older than you. I dont know why you love to argue so much. We are putting together a great event. Why does that upset you. I tell you I am done arguing, but you keep coming back to argue more. I have never seen someone actually try soo hard to go out of their way to cause problems on a auto forum. You say you like racing, fantastic, than why criticize Audi of all carmakers which has one of the best racing teams in ALMS. If you dont want to attend DONT, but why act the way you have? I have no problems with you, but yet you keep trying to egg me into an argument.

Why do I post after Alex posts the list? Because I get excited to see 1/2 million dollar Supercars attending an event I am helping put together. There is nothing wrong with that.

Second: A Carrera GT is a Supercar, an SLR is a Supercar, and an LP640 is a Supercar.

 

I learned that if you are only in Miami, why dont you drive 30 minutes to our meeting place and we can all discuss this is person like civilized gentleman.

I agree fred. It is a run to enjoy the cars, and to have a good time.
