Right, but my original statement was that i'd like to see him in something else in the future besides a Nasacar, pertaining to to the car not the series. Jacques Villeneuve plans to contest both a full season of Nascar and do the 24 hours again next year, so that sounds like it can be fit into the schedule. I'm not certain though, considering Nascar has such a hefty schedule. I'm also not going to Nascar.com to search for race and testing dates lol.

EDIT: Also, the population of the EU is close to 500 million.

I still think he would have won the WDC in the right environment. Perhaps Ferrari signed the wrong McLaren driver... ?

Just the RIGHT amount of $MONEY$!!!

It CAN and might happen--After he's proven what needs to, in NASCAR. I would love to see JPM back in F1. I think his level on maturity will have seasoned, and make him a better driver, in F1.

It will be fun to watch, and I'll cheer for him!

    Ciao...Paolo

Wow. Rob, you are not some CIA agent. You have no special skills or training when it comes to anything human behavior related. You're just a guy with a website who unlike other auto related websites manages to upset and/or enrage an inordinate amount of users both present and former. Google Robs name, then Google the founders of Rennlist or Audiworld and you do not find anything like what Mr. Lay seems to generate for himself. That notoriety by the way isn't Rob doing something right, it's him being a born and raised grade A knucklehead. Anyway, below is the entire exchange of what transpired after The K Reloaded (me) was banned. If you're going to post PM's Rob, might as well post all of it for accuracy. While I figured the ban would be temporary if I just stayed quiet, I decided staying quiet to a person like Rob Lay was just not worth it. Here are the UNEDITED E MAILS between us after the ban.
From the bottom up I e mailed first, then his response and then my counter just below here. After that I simply blocked his admin e mail as spam.

No, I don't think so Rob. It took less than 10 minutes to find numerous threads that had the same pattern. Someone says something you don't like, challenges you in some way and your ego can't take it. There was no cursing, no threatening, no anything but your ego just can't hack it. That is loser behavior.

Whatever. Keep your site and try to do something about that bitterness. It's no way to go through life.

    Cheers,

    K

Wow, the qualifying was a load of bull****! Over half the cars had qualified and put down a time and then when it rained they canceled it. So they wiped all the times clean and put everyone in order based on their owner points. Boris Said was P1 at the time he qualified and was basically going to get in the race. Michael Waltrip was something like 5th and was going to get in as well. JPM was in the top 10 and now is starting 20th.

Because of wiping all the times clean, Boris and Michael won't be racing. Are you ****ing kidding me?!? They should ****ing wake their asses up tomorrow morning early and qualify the rest of the guys. What a load of ****.

Mario won when there was NOT an Indy split, actually won a WC in F1 (1978), the 12 Hours of Sebring three times, and the Daytona 500 when it wasn't so freaky staged.

Mario was a 4 time IndyCar champ.

Mario won the 1972 Daytona 24 hour (actually a shortened 6 hour race) back when there weren't spec tires, spec wheels, restricted engine power, ugly DPs, etc.

Grand-Am is only becoming more staged...

“Most people don’t realize that when you strip these things down,” Raffauf said, “that I’m going to guess the number is somewhere between 80-85% of these cars are identical, structure wise. So it’s really an exercise of how you cloak the structure.”

Another photo finish at Daytona. Margin of victory look to be won by a nose. Too bad Boris Said and Michael Waltrip weren't allowed to race because of dumb quali rules.

JPM qualified 2nd for the Brickyard 400. His teammate, the #41 car (Sorenson, sp?), is the pole sitter.
