Yes it is a scam. That is used to be my 308. I took those pics of the car about 8-9 months ago. It is now owned by a fellow Fchatter.

Most definitely a scam. 308GTS is right, that's my car! Cool, my car is featured on an ebay scam. I feel honored. I am a little insulted they don't at least have a good reserve on it ;)

Well, I notified ebay of the false listing, but who know what they'll do. It's too bad ebay changed the rules and you can't see who the bidders are anymore, or I'd send them emails individually so they don't get scammed. Even if ebay kills the listing, I'm afraid the seller will try and contact the bidders anyway.

    Dear Mr J. N'Butu,

After reviewing the above exotic car for sale I am very pleased to inform you that I would like to buy the car if Mr. Nice Guy does not complete the transaction.

$8,000 is a great deal. Finally I get to drive a fancy car for less than the cost of my wife's boobs.

I can't wait to get the car. I couldn't sleep at all last night, I was tossing and turning, turning and tossing, you know just tossing and turning all night.

I too have won the lottery, the German lottery, we all know the UK lottoery is a scam. As soon as I collect my winnings I'll be sending you the money and info you requested.

I do have one favor to ask......
In order to move this transaction along quickly I'll be sending the check to you directly from the lottery. The check I'll be sending will be made out in the amount of $100,000 US dollars. You'll have no trouble cashing this check. Please send the car and all paperwork along with a check for the overpayment (minus your expenses) to.........

Hey Dave, I'm glad you decided to come down today and check out that Ferrari. I gotta tell you though, even though they are nice to look at, they're a lot of trouble. I just don't think it's the right car for you. But I like you already, so I tell you what. I'm not supposed to say anything, but we just got in a great 1988 Geo Prizm. It was owned by an old lady, only drove it on Sundays. It's like new. A real cherry. The boss wanted to give it to his son, that's how nice it is. But I think if you were to put some money down today, he'd have to let it go. You can have it for only $7000. Since you were looking at the Ferrari for $8000, that puts $1000 in your pocket!!!

So, were you going to pay cash or finance? Cause I've got some crazy, crazy finance deals this week!
