    I met the kind owner of this F430 spyder today, and apparently this is some kind of OE carbon fiber grill option, as well as a plethora of other CF parts around the interior... This is the first time i've seen this grill/option... any more information on it? Might it be the CS grill to come?

    Its nice... but i'm not sure its as nice an aesthetic appendage as the 355 and 360's challenge grills were.

    It's the challenge grill. Rumor has it that is no longer available to the US.

    My spider should be here on monday and has the CF grill. Unless they just removed the option in the last month.

    The option code is GRDC (rear segment in carbon fiber). I have it on my 2007 F430.
    It comes as standard on the F430 Challenge car.

    Thanks :) Of all the 430's I've seen, this was the first time I saw the challenge grill. Hopefully more to come.

    It wasn't very common on early F430s as many were not aware of that option. You will find a lot of the late 2006 F430s and 2007 F430s being ordered with the rear challenge grille.

    its still available in the US. FNA dismissed that rumor.

    I love the way it looks on the back of a red or yellow car, and how it blends with a black or titanium

    one of the essentail pieces to in F430
