Hi Miura lovers, here is a nice photo shoot that might be informative. Miura #3258 and a great looking model - http://adpix.biz/models/stephanie/index.htm #3258 was damaged and fitted with an SV front skin back in 1983. i remember suppling some spare headlights for the project at the time. i think i traded for the P400 eyelashes and front bumper. i have not seen this build #102 since, but here it is and looking good. Still sporting the polished brass window trim, it looks like P400 eyelashes have been fitted back for a much nicer original look. Craig
very nice - joe posted some of these in the miura thread but its much better to see them all. cheers for sharing
...boring! The still and undestroyable "Hot-Car-Hot-Girl"-Clichèe! Hope she looks as good as the Miura does after 35 years........ Ciao! Walter
normally id agree with you. but this shoot (for once) was tastefully done, the model wasnt naked, and they took shoits of the car on its own as well.
Good for you Walter. She is definitely at her personal peak now. The years will not be so kind. I like pics of hot girls (less clothes the better) but when they're done with special cars like a Miura they usually look like they're just in the way. I liked the car. The woodgrain console was interesting if different. It's nice to see different treatments now and then.
Girls and cars are always...."cheap" in pictures! I know what I am talkinhg about - I worked for Helmut Newton as his assistent from 1982-84 and later as one of their photographers for PLAYBOY (US and Germany) and took lots of shots with girlzzzzz! But I always refused to shoot them together with cars! But...taste is a very personal thing! Ciao! Walter
I looked in my picture files and found a warranty for 3258. Written in is Estes, maybe this came from Jim Fox's collection, i am not sure. i dont think i have many Warranty papers for Miura in my picture files. It is a amazing to have this exact paper to share. Maybe Fred would know if this is out of the Fox collection. Image Unavailable, Please Login
