South Florida Toys supercar run

see there is your problem... Lotus Elise $35,000, Porsche GT2 $90,000 (may be less in a week?) Which one of the Lambos is worth a half a million Dollars then? The last SLR I saw was offered to me off the dealer showroom floor at $80,000 below MSRP because nobody wanted it and the dealer lost their shirt in holding paper on the sucker. Porsche GT $360,000, two months ago you could buy them by the dozend. Finally Porsche came to its senses and stopped production to keep the prices from free falling. Some nice 1/2 Million Dollar supercars.

I gave you plenty of chances to simply say: I love "exotics" and you would have been fine but you come back to this crap of supercars. You try to hype up the event. No idea what your involvment is in this but you are actually bringing down the event by looking like some immature kid that has a raise in his pants from seeing an exotic car.

They are being smartasses about an event we are putting together. I can't discuss it on this board, as I have been told not to, but they dont like the fact that it has Supercar in the title. So they make fun of it like the f-***s they do.

No the comments were solely directed towards you. I have several friends with Ferrari's, and have no problems at all with them. This thread was about your mission against the organizers of this event. For some reason it is your personal goal to make fun of, belittle, and cause problems on a thread that we are organizing for Lambo/Ferrari/Exotics/Supercars. Which makes no sense as I am personally doing it to BETTER our South Florida community, not for personal gain, etc. Fred, Robert, and the rest in attendance at this, and our last event are really cool guys, and they had a great time from what I saw.

Rode for the first time in an NSX yesterday, second time riding in a Lotus. The NSX was really FAST! Super-fast. But not quite Lotus fast. Faster than my 348 I am pretty sure. Definitely faster than the Ginetta (by the numbers). No lamborghini showed up, so none to compare to.

The run was intended to be for personal gain. I simply caught on to it too late in order to shut this down. Now that it is apparent that there is no more personal gain you proclaim it to be for the "better"ment of the community. Yet you still exclude or shall I say discriminate, against certain cars. Now that there is no video for personal gain, you should have opened the door and said, hey, all of the South Florida Community, come and play. But you don't. You even call the Ferrari guys: "***s"

I was on Lambo Power about a year ago and got banned. After seeing so much bashing of Ferrari's and the people that drive them I made a thread and asked why they do it SO MUCH. I brought up the point that Ferrari owners don't talk nearly as much crap. That's 90% of what their board is about.. I suppose they have nothing else to talk about. So my thread caused so much drama for asking one simple question that (of course) it came down to "post nudes or get banned." I chose the latter. F them and if anyone has something to say to me about it, have at it. The conduct on that board is less than sub-par.

I MIGHT go to this event if I get my gold grill in time, otherwise have fun, but I don't know why ANYONE on F-chat would want to go after the event coordinator said you're all ***s. Kind of a slap in the face if you ask me but I was already aware of their immature antics.

I am not making anything off of putting any events together, so please get your facts straight before you post something you know nothing about. We did not discriminate against anyone, or any car. When we began talking about this event, we wanted to limit it to certain cars. I have said nothing but good things about the NSX. Again, that comment is towards you. The rest of the members here I like. Even MRoadster which at first I didn't get along with, I personally think knows alot about cars, and found his post rather knowledgeable. You have done nothing but make fun of, belittle, and discriminate our event for no apparent reason except what you said about us not letting certain cars go. If you were there at our last event, you would have seen how limited the parking was. We have more Ferrari's and Lamborghinis coming to this event, hence less available parking meaning we couldn't invite everyone.

They don't that is the whole point. This is why they hang on FerrariChat and have an entire thread called: whats new on Ferrari Chat.
What should they be posting? latest stats from LeMans. Lambo came with one car to race and lasted...not one hour. The team was packed and back in Japan by the time the checkered waved.

Just pittyful if all you can do is bash another car to make yourself validate why you spend such an insane amount on your car. The good news is, while Lambo pushes power upwards, Ferrari counters and bring a car with the same power that actually drives and then shows it also lasts under extreme conditions like a 12h race or a 24h race.

 

My Italian cars comment was more along the lines of "Italians are made to argue", at least that seems to be the case with my mother in law! I would probably go for the ride next weekend, but I used up my hall passes to go to A-51 yesterday.
