Just saw a silver 360 spider on 215 between State and 700 East.
I forgot to post this but last week there was a white V8 Vantage at the office. The guys brother owns one of the companies here.
Saw a black 550 Barchetta with black aftermarket wheels parked at a house just a few doors down from my Provo place a couple days ago, then I saw the same car AGAIN yesterday afternoon pulling onto I-15 headed south in Orem. I talked with Richard L. at a BBQ last night because I know he used to own that car, but he doesn't know who owns it now. Anyone know?
Really? Who else down here owns one? That's cool! I keep mine at my Seattle garage, but I've been thinking about bringing it down here to try out the Miller Motorsports Park track.
I'm sure it was a paddle, since the first stick 599 in the country is supposed to be going to Richard L, and as of last night, his hasn't arrived yet.
Just went for a run and saw a silver 360 spider on Davis Blvd at about 1800S in Bountiful and then a black 360 as I was streatching after the run.
"Cool!" was exactly what I said as I drove past. I didn't recognize the owner, but didn't get a good look. I knew of one local F40, but I thought the owner sold it not too long ago (it came out to last year's Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motosports Park). I've also seen one in Logan and I've seen one that I was told lives in Wyoming (I don't personally know of other Utah area F40s). Bring it down -- I'd love to maybe catch a glimpse of another
So I went to Steve Harris' since I was downtown and saw a 599 GTB in Black/Black with a 6speed stick and a certain rather tall gentleman there to purchase it. I believe the car had CCB, and it definitely had the carbon package and carbon seats. It looked completely optioned out. Except for F1; good on'em. Also a Black Superamerica with a 6speed stick, and beautiful burgundy DB9 in the back.
R.L. showed me his Black/Black 599 this afternoon. SWEEEEEET. It does have the carbon ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber all over the interior. It sounded amazing. I asked him if he liked it, and he answered "what's not to like?" Indeed! And the 6 speed manual gearbox is a nice touch. Carbon fiber shift knob with a cool red stripe around the "equator."
Sounds terrific! In March I was at Ferrari of Atlanta and saw a 599 - black interior with red stitching and carbon fiber with that shift knob... very nice touch. FOA opines the 599 has the potential to outperform the Enzo, and that's a race I'd like to watch
The 575 was a titanium color. I saw it again yesterday. Also, I just saw a yellow F430 coming down main street in Logan. It was being driven by an asian gentleman. If you're on here by chance, you have an absolutely beautiful car. Sorry guys, no pictures. Both of the sightings caught me off guard.
Drove to work next to a lovely silver 550 and got to compliment his car. He was kind enough to compliment my V1.
