    Congrats and well done. Keep reminding yourself that you paid well under 30 when you put your foot on the throtle and hear those webers open up. It's a far different sensation than the later cars. People are now paying well over 100 for mechanically identical c4s and 200 to 300k for Daytonas with like what 40 more horsepower?

    serial # 19065 any history available? thanks all, for replys. received both 400i's yesterday. waiting for vech. inspection tomorrow. then i will be able to insure and drive, by tomorrow evening. the 84, very nice. have done complete checkup. everything works. compression/leakdown ok. 82 is a dog! driveable BUT ROUGH. motor has need for valve job, antifreeze in crankcase(small amount) compression in two cly 50#/110# hunk of center dash bad.

    will do this week. had a week of warranty work at my shop. my poor hiring practice. on top of that, my manager has been named the only person of interest. his wife has been missing for 4.5 years. great week.
