nope, there was a time though i might have said yes! bought a boat instead, very bad choice!

A 333SP would fit very nicely in the top of that transporter!

 

Thats pretty cool, why don't you drive your F40 instead of transporting it.

 

Like the Stradale that hauler seems to sit pretty low to the ground. Any ground clearance issues? Very nice looking set-up you have there! Good luck with the sale...

The suspension is adjustable, in the picture it is lowered. You can also raise it above its normal height if you need additional clearence, although that has never really been an issue.

Brad, the motorcoach is 45' long and 13' tall.

It is built on a 2000 Kenworth T2000 chassis. It has a Cummins 435hp with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The truck was built in 2003 to my design. It is designed to haul two cars, F40 on top with any other Ferrari or any other sports car on the bottom or you can fold the upper platform and haul a single car or SUV on the bottom!

Central air and heat of course, flat screen TV with DVD. A full size (for a motorcoach) fridge and freezer, gas 3 burner cooktop with stove and micro-wave. The bathroom is large and has a large shower to clean up after a day at the track.

It sleeps 4, 2 on the lower couch's that are covered in ultra-leather (twice as much as leather but does not dry out and crack like leather, same material I used on my Hatteras) and two upper bunks.

The driving seats are OMP world Rally Carbon Fiber seats ($6,000) It has a Snap-On tool box that slides out and outside air and electric so you never have to go inside the Coach if you are at the track and need tools. It has a place for 10-gallons of race fuel and spare tires.

The upper deck on the top of the truck is diamond plate and has a red canvas cover that shades all of your guests. It has a complete set of red chairs so you can sit up top and watch the track.

It will cruise all day at 75mph with cruise control and gets around 7 mpg.
It has just been serviced, it has new brakes and tires, she just turned 203,000 miles, so that is nothing, these rigs can go 1 million or more. Fully loaded she is about 42,000lbs.

The coach has a 10kw Onan genset.

The railings have Cavallino's cut into the panels on the upper deck as do the supports in the garage.
The flooring is real Pirelli coin-dot rubber in red, it was twice what marble would have been but it looks great!

The frame is all welded STEEL, not screwed or riveted, the space between the steel posts are encased in Styrofoam, the walls are covered in plywood, then covered in foam, then upholstered. The floor is Plywood then Styrofoam, then another layer of plywood then covered in Pirelli rubber.

The lighting is by touch pad, no switches in the living area. It has two closets and a helmet and race suit rack in the garage.

It has strobes and a police siren, what the hell it is fun when traffic is in your way!

To duplicate the coach with all of the high-end materials and the hydraulic rear lift door and all the Ferrari and custom touches is over $280,000.

So, price of $180,000 is $100,000 under replacement.

Good one, Chris. Fondly recall chowing Subways in the back 'o that rig w/you and PMUM - so it's handy in a dining capacity, too!

 

I know that theres really no reason for this thread to go on since the thing has been sold but I just have to say that that is probably the coolest car transporter I've ever seen! You've got double thumbs up from me. Seems like the race spec drivers seat might get a bit uncomfortable though. Why not have one of those ultra luxurious captains chairs like you might find in an International CXT?
