    Hello,

    I am setting up a huge track rental on 10/8/07 (conveniently on Columbus day) at MIR www.mirdrag.com I have arranged for us to have both lanes and be able to run heads up with VHT sprayed in both lanes to the 60'. As most of you know MIR is close to sea level and track prep is amazing. We will need a minimum of 30 cars and the cost will be $103/car (unlimited amount of drivers) paypal to mercedeseclass@ hotmail.com to reserve your spot. The $3 is to cover the paypal fees because I will need payment in advance to reserve a spot. If you have been to my track rentals before, you know its alot of fun! Hope alot of you can make it.

    Awesome---I am only 15 minutes from there. Any cost for spectators? There has also always been a big discussion about Radar/Laser units, jammers, detectors, etc.. If any one wants to do some real world testing of what works and what doesn't work--Let me know..I can bring down a radar unit and a laser unit..This would be a perfect time--where we are not on the roadways during these tests.. ..Puff at Exhaust.tv has been wanting to do this for awhile to add a real world test to his website for all to see--maybe he will see this thread

    I won't invite anyone...most people down this way aren't into high end imports and exotics anyway...I will bring the 355 down with me, but no racing for me...

    I would def be down for spectating, but I don't know what the point of tracking my car would be. I haven't been down to MIR in a while.

    LetsJet- I'm not sure what year the S600 is but I remember he ran a 11.2 He has the renntech ECU/TCU tune and unfortunately I dont know what else. The fastest E55 will be there running in the 10's!

    Sechsgang- Bring out the RS6 or the P car! Its not about who's the fastest, its about having fun.

    lol - another one of my clients. Small world. His Supra is no joke!! I think he is breaking into the 10's.

    Curious though, isnt any car running under 11's required to have roll cages or they kicked from the track?

    Hey Ahmad... didn't know you were on FerrariChat too...

    I would love to bring the SLK over, but I'm not sure if I can make it or not. At the least, I will come and watch the other cars run.

    Is there a deadline before which we have to pay? Or can I just pay you at the event if I am able to make it?

    He's definitely running 10's if not better.

    That is usually the rule at test and tune. This is a rental and things are a little more lax. Shhhhhhh!
    Yup, I'm on here but rarely post. I have set a 50 car limit for the event. If you dont reserve a spot and the 50 cars have been filled, you cant run.

    ok cool.. I'll just watch the thread till the date, and I'll try to make it at least to watch the runs, just in case I can't make it.

    ya, i was saying that i can bring my "fast" car and still lose to your BIG crotch rocket...but find someone with a 600cc bike...im up for that...haha
