All, I will still be out there on Saturday for a little bit but it sounds like most of us will be out there on Sunday so lets coordinate the group meeting for this coming Sunday. Lets meet at the normal meeting place (Jantzen Beach Starbucks located at the Barnes and Noble across from Target) Say at 9am?? That way we can get coffee and head over to the track say about 10am? That will give us time to wait at the turn 8 entrance like last year and all head to the corral at the same time (I think the other car clubs love to see us roll in). Plus that will give us a few hours before the parade laps if we will be doing that again. I posted the Sunday schedule below. Let me know if you are in and we will wait for you. They ask that the cars be in position out there by 10:00 Saturday Becky will be with me, so it kinda depends on how early I can get her going. We will probably be close to 10. We will have to leave after lunch. Sunday I will be alone, but again must leave early. Could meet you guys at Starbucks, maybe head for the track a little earlier? Ray
Sounds good Ray.. Make sure you pass the word on to the other guys that are going that might not be on F Chat... See you guys this weekend..
Hey Ray! Welcome to F-Chat! I am in for Sunday what time to meet at Janzen Beach Starbucks? Oh since I will miss Becky Syunday say Hello to her for me Mike
I will have to see how early I can get my kids up and going-- what time are we talking about? And, will we be able to get out of the infield area early-- say around 1pm?
All, We will meet at the Jantzen Beach Starbucks at 9am.. We will leave there about 9:30 ish so we can have the cars placed by 10am at the track. Don, Kellie and I will probably leave about the same time (around 1pm) and last year after we did the parade laps they let us out at turn 8 for those that were leaving so I would assume we can do the same this year.. See you guys on Sunday..
Just letting everyone know..... At the base of the goodyear tower there are $20 hot laps. The proceeds go to a childrens charity. There are different cars to choose from. NO you don't get to drive, but you will have fun. I know most of you have been around the track before with RTGT or others, but this is for charity. Enjoy the weekend.
Do you guys already have tickets, or can we buy them on the way in? I'm concerned that if we're in the middle of the pack of Ferraris, we might not have a chance to stop and buy them as we go in. Any thoughts?

Don, Jim, No worries... We can stop by the gate on the way in and you guys can grab tix then. Then we can head back to the corral area. Heck they didn't even really look at my tix today... See you guys at 9am at Starbucks.

Here's a few pics from Sunday. The pics of the cars on-track were shot thru the windshield of the Audi tt I was driving, so they're not that great. But Enjoy! Does anyone have any information on this car or that NART 312 that was there? I never got a chance to talk to the owners. It was good seeing Kurt (its been a while man!) and Sonny on Saturday. Thanks for letting Leslie sit in your cars. She couldn't stop talking about that. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was great seeing everyone today. I was thinking of posting that car in vintage. I'm not sure what it is.
