Tinting an F430 ?

    Want to put some light tint on an F430. However, with the backglass being constantly heated by the engine... I suspect it may cause the tint to peel off the back glass in quick time.

    Can anyone confirm or deny this ?

    BTW... car will never need to use the rear defroster.

    Just do the two side windows, this way you can still see the engine. Since my car is a drop top could not tint the rear plastic window.

    Well... noticed that the window on the firewall area does not get nearly as hot... so I doubt the tint will peel from there... so yes... may just tint the sides and the rear firewall window.

    WIll have to do something light so the car doesn't look awkward with only 2 of 3 external windows tinted.

    we had tony Kanaan's f430 in the shop a few days ago. he's got his front window driver and passenger side windows. both side windows and his firewall windows tinted. looked real nice. might be alittle too dark for some.
